Has The Economy Affected Your Dating Life?

I’m just curious has anyone here found themselves dating less or simply finding other things to do?

What have you been doing that’s different but still inexpensive?

Any ideas?

We go out less and less, but that's nothing new.

I just posted this on my blog a moment ago - in response to a fascinating article in the Washington Post on dating in the economic crisis. Interesting account of local men and women, and how it's harder for single men to date with a lighter wallet these days! Many are just putting things on hold.

  That just kills me! You don't need a lot of money to date, even in a bad economy. I mean what ever happened to cafe's and just sitting down for a cup of coffee.
  
  If you live in NYC open up the Villiage Voice and look for cheap or free fun stuff to do.
  
  Am I alone here?

We're not seeing as many movies or going out to dinner as often. We can afford it but want to build up some savings just incase unemployment becomes an issue.
