Hate Mail

After my recent post "The Abomination of Humanity" that dealt with the hate mail I receive on a regular basis I decided to publish some of these mails on my blog. The normal "burn in hell" and "fuck you faggot" mails I decided to ignore, and rather only publish ones that have an inkling of intelligence. So here is one that was sent to me via Facebook: warfare-delightful-dreary-life.blogspot.com/

A genetic defect? It's kinda interesting how people never seem to run out of ways of trying to prove that they are better than you...

How about this: "According to biology", as the guy writes, gay people have a genetical defect because living organisms are all hard-wired to reproduce and gay people can't so they must be "wrong".
But what if "biology" is actually smarter than that guy thinks, and "knows" that it could lead to overpopulation and depletion of resources if all living organisms reproduce unchecked? Perhaps "biology" then designed a part of the population to not want to go for the opposite sex and reproduce to keep things in balance? Then gay people would be completely perfect exactly the way they are, and it would be pseudo-scientific bigots like that guy who are working against the natural order of things. Ha! Take that, narrow-minded discriminators!

This was one of the more interesting hate mails I received and I agree Rainhat this guy is a pseudo-scientific bigot. I found it interesting that he used a different angle to justify his homophobia, but in my response to his mail I did point out to him that if we look back at history some people who changed history was in fact gay people. The defective gene hypothesis is just preposterous.

My comment (hopefully humourous) on your blog echoes this idea.

Also, it seems to me that this kind of scientific-sounding homophobia is more dangerous than the outright FOAD, religious stuff. It can draw more people in, people who might quickly dismiss the religious stuff.

I really laughed at the second message. I think its author might to be some defective primitive organisms

At least he upgraded gay people to organisms and not abominations
      ;-)

It seems he obviously decided on the genetic defect but can not decide to kill you or hate you.
    1. cuteptaguy
Now if he combined science with religion, he definitely would decide on killing as hate may just be too limiting. But then again he said we gay folk would go extinct so we will die anyway.
    2. ophase
Ok, lets wait and see what he will decide. He probably can not make up his mind and thinking about it. I expect another hate message about his last decision. That's funny

Oh, how I just adore indecisive homophobes. They alway make for great dinner party debates. It's just a pity that they never actually show up when invited!

He tried and failed to justify his homophobia. Leonardo Da Vinci was gay and Michelangelo too and there's so many historic gay people that have lived donky years ago, and yet "gayness" still exists today. Homosexuals going extinct? I don't think so, mate.

      and Tchaikovsky as well.

misssuffragette I agree. We are here and we are Queere and here to stay; dressing straight people, doing their hair and (like in my profession), going to war fighting for their civil right, protecting them against crime risking our own lives so that they and their children (and hopefully mine if i decide to have any) will live in a better world!

Soirette, thanks for the comment on my blog. It was humourous!

However these kind of narrow minded people just don't seem to get it - the homosexual are trying to conquer the world! Accept it or become our slaves... Evil, Queer & Fabulous!

If they want to make us out to be like this, we will happily oblige ;-)

PS: Please also rate and comment on Deutche Wella's Best of Blogs. Never has a gay (GLBT) blog been one of their top 10 finalists in any of their categories. I hope in 2010 mine would be the 1st to make that happen! So please rate and comment on my blog at: www.thebobs.com/index.php?l=en&w=1249807794865054ZHXTFWRE

I too often find similar sorts of messages in my inbox. Only it's stuff like: "Your a dumbass, evolution isnt real!" "Your spreading lies, science does not give us any real answers." "Your going to hell for turning your back on god," and so-on. It's surprising how many people have the time to surf around to sites they don't like and write about how much they hate you for making a site they don't like.

Hell is much more fun, anyway.

I also find it amazing that the seek out our blogs only to ridicule us. One would think they have better things to do.
