Polybore thinks that animoto is the best thing since sliced egg (or should that be bread)...
Ok, animoto allows you to make videos for free up to 30 seconds. Which is how polybore made their first video.
Here is the plan, watch polybore's first video made up of images from the blog. If you want one for your blog hit the animoto sign up button at the top right of the page.

Use images from your blog (or anywhere) get some music (with the appropriate licences) make a video and post the link here. Animoto has some great legal music as does www.jamendo.com
All videos posted here will be posted on watchblogvideos.com (unless you would rather not).
On the 31st of March an impartial person will pick the best video.
The winner will be able to send polybore up to 90 pictures of their own and a soundtrack for a full length animoto video which polybore will render in High Definition DVD quality.

My casket is calling me - since about 7 am today... Sigh - but was rebuilding and tweaking and freaking and OMG - I did a Template Change - and OMG - I don't know what to do. LOL!

I'm in! I made a video a while ago using Animoto but it doesn't hurt to do it again. I have new pictures and it could use some updating! I'll post the link when I'm done.-

In case any of the bloggers who where part of the recent new I, Avatar project missed it, the final cut High Definition (Ultimate Edition 2009) version is now available at www.watchblogvideos.com/2009/03/i-avatar-2009-ultimate-edition.html
Polybore thinks it is the best yet and well worth a look at in HD double the frame rate and high resolution. Looks fantastic on polybores 22" widescreen. If anyone wants it on DVD .iso so you can burn it to dvd and watch on TV with your dvd player let polybore know. If there is enough interest it will happen. -
PetLvr thinks this is interesting, and just as interesting as it is for PetLvr to talk about himself in the third person, like Polybore does. So,with that perspective, PetLvr will continue to animate at animoto and party on Garth.-
The third person suits you PetLvr. What is this "Garth" of which you speak? It sounds like a fun place.

Polybore is speechless. Was tentatively looking forward to seeing some of your stuff in animoto form.
What a truly awful excuse, once you have made the video you need never go back, and let that user name and password disappear into the ether.
If registering with another site is so bad, don't worry Polybore can accommodate this wild eccentricity, send polybore 10-15 images and a sound track and polybore will fix it for you. Will also sell your images as polybore's own but that is another matter which polybore should probably not mention here.

Hey, if you pay for the whole shebang, do you get more editing options with regards to how it flows from one picture to the next?-
That packs a punch!
Regarding the transitions unfortunately not at the moment. They are always adding new features, like adjusting the pace and adding text, and would think that something along those lines would be in the pipeline.
What you can do is hit the one click remix button and the video will come out with a new set of transitions. Polybore tends to do that a few times then chooses the best one.
The all access pass is exactly the same as the free one except you can make much longer videos, if polybore remembers right 90 images is the maximum. -
Ah, OK so it's a crap shoot, really. I used to use Roxio - and it was very similar, only you had a lot of choices with regards to transitioning the photos.

Yeah crap shoot it is. Although the transitions are effected by the music, kind of like Windows Media Player Visualisations, so there is a bit of a benefit.

Oh, I like the fact that u said, "Polybore not a huge handbag fan but cakes... yum!". Actually, none of my food featured on the video were cakes, they're just simple daily food. Here's the insight:
Pix of letter "J" - It's a sushi 'birthday' cake that I've made for my son this March & of course, using rice. This sushi has recently emerged as one of the top 5 spots in a food competition.
Heart-shaped pix - Crabmeat Ceviche
Round-shpaed pix - 'Jewel' Patty that's made with pork & different types of eggs
Multi-coloured pix with stars, moons, flowers - Vitamin Soup made with carrots, potatoes & tomato
Whoever's interested in my recipes, complete with step-by-step pix guide, pls feel free to print it out at no charge
