I think I might have been penalized by google. My page rank dropped to ZERO lol, plus my blog doesn't appear anymore on the 1st few pages of google search, hence, a drop in my adsense earnings as well. I suspect it was the linkworth ad i placed on my blog. Anyway i have removed all other ads and submitted a 'request for reconsideration' to explain my side and apologize, using google webmasters' tools and now waiting for a result hoping they do reconsider. Please share your experience. Thanks.

This is the blog i'm talking about, just in case you're curious :

I think you have one excellent way to get traffic and rank back(just find a real trusted (google's trusted) blog and buy the direct link to your blog)

But Google frowns on the buying and selling of links.

I have been penalised last January after doing a few sponsored posts. My PR went from 2 to 0 but PR doesn't mean much anymore anyway. I am not doing them anymore but I am not removing the ones I did either.

i couldn't simply ignore the PR cause my adsense earnings got affected real bad...

Early on I was warned by Google. I don't think they bother me anymore.

A lot of blogs that I know are posting paid links and still have good PRs.
    1. taur
they're lucky ... and i guess they got some really good stuff there
  8. jojoblue
I did not get a PR because I have been posting paid links.
    1. taur
so ...we're on the same boat... just goes to show google really doesnt like those links
  9. wares4life
I've been slapped by google 3 times already, and yes it does affect alot of your opportunities for paid reviews. No one wants to give an opportunity to a blog with no PR associated with it.

You need to find the really trusted site where you can buy the link!
Because the google do not drop the PR from very trusted site!
