   I STILL have my teddy bear. I got him when I was roughly 20 months old, so he's just about exactly 39.

   I cherished my stuffed animals as child. My favorites were a rabbit named "bun-bun" (I took him everywhere with me), and a bear named Freddie that my brother gave to me as a gift when I was a newborn.
   
   Ah....just thinking about them warms my heart all over again. Actually brought a tear of joy to my eye remembering them.

   I still have the bear that I got for my 7th birthday. He's a bit worse for wear, but he's still hanging in there. Maybe he'll be a family heirloom eventually.
   
   Oh-- and I named him Timothy.

   My son did not have a teddy bear he had a stuffed pig. Its name was Piggy. He gets his creativity from me.
