Now I'm not going to spam the link to MY blog on here, you'll just have to find it for yourself or you could ask really friendly and I might give it to you then. But I was just wondering whether or not you have ever visited my blog, and if so, did it look shiny and bright, good enough for a magpie to fly away with?

Have you ever commented? If you do, you get a treat.

(gosh I know how to advertise :P)

I've visited at least one of your sites - the blog review one, but I had thought that was your only one. It isn't...is it....

    Oh well

That one doesn't even exist anymore, lol

me neither, is it scary? I'm afraid of scary blogs....and trees that talk

It's not that scary. You just have to watch out for the dogs. They have some vicious teeth, those.

    Just did. Interesting.

Yes, and I seem to remember an erotic story about some crazy blonde from Idaho there!

    It was scary.

Well I was madly in love with you back then. It tempered a bit now

I've been to your short stories one, but not for a while.

I did today. I give you huge credit for writing a story a week-- it's a wonderful way to hone your skills.

In college we had a class that required it, and while everything I produced from that time period wasn't terrific due to the tight deadlines, we ended up learning a TON. I never regret it.

Yea, it's not always easy to accomplish the weekly update -I think I will fail this week, I've had a lot going on, lot of soul-searching and still need to process most, but that's totally off subject- It does learn you a lot on how to create tension, building up stories. It also learn you to break away from the linear point of view, etc. It's a great way to explore and really just think about story-telling. I advise it to everyone to at least try it. You really improve your writing in just a couple of months.

Our exercises in class involved different sorts of challenges, too, like "write it this week in second person" or "write the story and include a dog as a metaphor." You'd be surprised how that could add and guide the story.

I don't know if you've tried things like that, but it might give you some ideas when you currently have none-- ask a friend for one random element to include in a story.

Yea, I usually tend to shift setting and genre (as much as I can), but yea, that's a great idea. If I once have no inspiration, I'll ask someone to give me a challenge. Thanks, TSR.

      Glad to help.

Yes. And you do a good job of spear-pointing a theme, then embellishing it.

Just did now. Yep, nice and bright. Very nice work (tipping my hat to ya!).

    Answering a Q with a Q...

Have you visited MYYYY blog? ;-)

Just teasing. I've always wanted to say that.
    1. Manictastic
I just did. It looked interesting, however, I hate the automatic audio-play.

Lol, was your volume way up and did you get a scare?
I wish I had more time and eyeballs to view everyone's sites as suggested/requested, but so far I don't. I'm still learning to post regularly on mine and for another site I'm a guest on. But mark my words... I love 'bright and shiny'... I'll visit... and I'll even comment. Soon. Promise.
