Pete played at Captain Hiram's Resort in Sebastian Florida for years as he became an icon in the area. Captain Hiram's memorialized Pete by naming his stage Pete's Place while the City of Sebastian honored Pete with a Bronze Plaque permanently mounted in Riverview Park.
