If so what do you think about your own home country compare to the country you have visiting?
Personally I've been to Australia and Thailand, not every part but it was a good break away..
Cheers,

From SC (by way of Philadelphia), When I was a student in Nottingham, I spent the summer backpacking around Europe. It was amazing. Stayed in hostels, boatels, train stations, people's homes.

What is special about the usa? It has its own specialness just like other country. Each state has its own cultural influences from Louisiana to Dutch Pennsylvania, to Texas, just to name a few. There are armadillo races, chili cookoffs, powwows, rodeos. There is kitch (las vegas), there is countryside to fit any mood from the grand canyon to the red wood forests of California. It is interesting to see how each immigrant group has impacted the cultural, gastronomic, linguistic, musical, architectural heritage of this country.

Uk, Holland, Mexico, United States (too many states to mention, including Hawaii), Canada, Jamaica.
I can't compare because each place had something unique and interesting to offer for different reasons. I love the English countryside, but the grandeur of places like zion national park is stunning (seeing the petroglyph by indians from 1100's was amazing). Hawaii and the beaches, what can I say aaaaaaaah! heavenly, but then I LOVE spending time at the wild beaches on the northeast coast of England. -
UK, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Luxemburg
I liked it most in Croatia. It's a bautiful country, the coastline is wonderful, lots of bays and little islands, wonderfull weather in summer, very nice people. I was a bit shocked with the contrast between the idyllic, absolutely beautiful coast and touristic resorts and the inland with it's devastated and abandoned houses and even whole towns. You still can find places that remind you of the war and the people who left their homes and never came back. Beautiful and fascinating country. -
Aruba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Mexico, Bahamas...
I live in New York.
I would like to go to Europe but the dollar is so weak now, I don't think I will be going anytime soon. Airfare is so high now too. Next trip will be in the beautiful United States. Gattlinberg, Tennessee in the Smokey Mountains. After that I will visit Arizona. America has so much diversity, I look forward to exploring more of my country. -
I've love to travel a broad, especially one with big boo... oh wait we're talking about going around the world?
Anyway, I took a summer college course in Limerick, Ireland in 2005 and was one of the best things I've ever done. I've been to a few places in the US and Canada too. I've been throwing around ideas of going to Tokyo this year too. -
Never been outside of the USA. I really REALLY want to go to western Europe, though. Actually, I take that back. I want to go to London (Royal Ballet), Paris (Paris Opera Ballet), Berlin (Staatsballett Berlin), and St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg Ballet), scattered throughout Europe.

Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Somalia, Zanzibar, USA (California), England.
Off to Denmark and maybe Ireland in August/ September
It's always hard for me comparing any place i visit with home. The familiarity of how things run at home makes it always better. I loved the way traffic is controlled in LA / London - and many other places except home!(traffic lights in Kenya mean nothing to anyone) -
I used to be proud of Malaysia at one time when I was living in Europe. Things change, governments are governments - they rarely change, and when they do, they take their own sweet time to do it, but this has nothing to do with the Q. I've been to 80% of Europe, lived in France. I've also been to the UAE, the Middle East, Jerusalem, Jordan and the CIS {Commonwealth Independent States}. I'd love to visit NZealand, Australia and other parts of South America, and Canada one day.
