What are your views on Heather Mills and her recent 50 million dollar divorce settlement from Paul McCartney ?

My neighbor who idolizes and somewhat ironically now resembles Al Bundy from the married with children show thinks McCartney is lucky because there is no way he could get rid of his own wife for just 5 per cent... -
Ha! Your neighbor is right, but still. She hardly deserves 1/10 of that.
She will just squander it all on fancy prosthetic legs n' stuff.

I thought it was interesting that the news reported that Paul offered her 50 Mil originally and she turned it down. Then the judge awarded her 48.6 Mil. After all this she could have gotten more and not trashed their personal lives. -
I think it's disgusting that she got all that money. When you closely examine the case you realise she didn't have a leg to stand on.-
That is a somewhat ingenious comment...I wonder what jokes the comedians and their writers will come up with regarding mills vs. "all you need is love" McCartney ?

I just heard on the news, which is always accurate of course, that she would have gotten more had she not gone to court. hmmm -
I don't know much about how much money should give in suc case. But, as far as I know,I think she should have got even more. -

She was on the bbc news last night saying she is glad she has secured her and her kids future. WTF slap the bitch on social.
By the way I brought her a pair of tights as a congratulation present and cut one of the legs off. -
someone should rip off her prostethic leg and beat the living crap out of her. she said she was happy with the settlement and that it owuld secure her daughters future and she can go on giving money to her favourite charity. now she is trying to get another appeal. cunt.
50 million can buy you an entire charity organization and let you live in luxury for god knows how long till her prosthetic leg fails her. -

I can understand in terms of him giving money for the sake of their child. But this is HER money not the child's. It's an even weirder situation because this type of divorce settlement is like an American one where one person gives the other money. This kind of settlement is not frequent in the UK. I heard one person say this situation is like an average couple splitting their CD collection. I don't think so!

I think the public is probably more upset over it than he is. That sounds like an incredible amount of money to most people, but let's put it in perspective...it's only 3% of his total net worth. I'm sure he'll shrug it off and move on.
I think it also goes to show you that, when making a huge, life-altering decision, it's wise to listen to your friends and family who can give you objective input. From what I understand, his family didn't like her from the beginning, and warned him not to marry her. He did it anyway...and evidently without a prenup. -
