Help! My Site/Blog Ranked #1 on Yahoo for a Search - But Nothing on Google

I noticed that my computer site/blog www.johnzpchut.com is ranked number one (after a sponsor ad) on Google for the keyword phrase: 'community technology help center'.
search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0geu.aj9DJIDloBshVXNyoA?fr2=sg-gac&sado=1&p=c...
But is nowhere to be seen on Google. I was excited about that but also frustrated because I could not place high on both search engines at the same time.
Has anyone else had the same problems and would you care to discuss.

It's my experience that Yahoo always picks up blogs first. Although www.google.com/addurl says that manually submitting your pages to their index is unnecessary, they have an interface for you to do so. But don't be surprised if it takes weeks for Google to acknowledge your site's existence. beta.search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx MSN will seldom visit a website unless invited by submission. search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html frequents sites more than MSN but less than Google but will dramatically increase visits after submission.
It is said that Google's directory comes straight from the DMOZ Directory so look into getting your blog site listed in it. The DMOZ, commonly known as the dmoz.org/about.html Open Directory Project has strict guidelines as to who is listed. Submission info can be found here dmoz.org/add.html
What I would do is cover all the registration bases (see above) and set up Google webmasters' account if you do not already have one.
Lastly, note that I do not see "Archives" on either of your blogs therefore, I have no idea how old these blogs are and how many posts you have. So the advice I gave above came from the point of view of speaking to a blogger with a new blog. I assumed that if the blogs had been well established and you did have Google webmasters' account this would not be an issue that you would post here.
Also note that just because your blog is gets a number 1 search return from one search engine Yahoo does not mean that it will be number 1 in the other search engine results.-
I dunno. Since I started using tags appropriately on Wordpress.com, my posts are getting picked up instantly by Google, but it takes time on Yahoo. Example: a mini-post I did on my brother this morning on Stoneman's Corner. Try googling Matthew Stoneman. Comes up no. 3 in the US and 5 in Canada. (The other Matthews are different people.)

@Mark
Please, please do not cloud the OP's issue [she said grinning]. The OP does not have free-hosted wordpress.com blogs therefore, he cannot benefit from using the global tagging system there.
Also your free-hosted blog is not "new" so please note this Mark: faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/why-isnt-my-blog-in-google/
If you use the wordpress.com searchbox you will find many threads where wp.com bloggers with brand new free-hosted blogs are complaining about how long it takes Google to do the initial indexing of their site.
