Will you marry me? That is old Fashioned.
I was thinking something like you know we have been dating for three years now and.... Should I be direct and to the point, What if she says no, I am afraid with my ego that may be the end of the relationship and this is my concern.
You wanna get married? That's manly.Should I wait till she asks Me? Any suggestions? What did your husband say? Yeah Tell me how men have proposed to you.

I am still single, but if I were your girlfriend, I would want the old fashioned "I love you, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"
