Which wordpress are we talking about, self-hosted wordpress.org or hosted wordpress.com?

In any case, you are more likely to find help here:
    wordpress.com: en.forums.wordpress.com/
    wordpress.org: wordpress.org/support/

If you give me a link to your wordpress blog here, I may be able to help.

What do you mean by 'only half of it can be shown'?
I see plenty of widgets in your sidebar.
Are you by any chance trying to paste some javascript, iframe, flash or other embed code in a text widget? No can do on wordpress.com:
      support.wordpress.com/code/

You have chosen a theme called Blix. It is a theme with quirks. One of the quirks is the widget display. Some themes have their own custom widgets and some themes over write the standard widgets. For example, Blix uses it’s own Recent Posts widget and doesn’t provide options to change the title or configure how many posts it shows.
    faq.wordpress.com/2007/02/21/blix-theme-quirks/
    support.wordpress.com/widgets/custom-theme-widgets/

My suggestion is that you change to another theme so all the widgets in your wordpress.com dashboard will be available to you.

See, why do people have to ask for support help outside of there platform? They should be helping you every step of the way. That kind of stuff is exactly why I moved my blog to blogfloss.com because they help and they help very quickly and for someone like me, that knows very little about techy stuff, that is important.

Surely you aren't comparing the two.
      wordpress.com PageRank 9/10
      alexa 19* www.alexa.com/siteinfo/wordpress.com

      blogfloss PageRank 0
      alexa N/A www.alexa.com/siteinfo/blogfloss.com

fielsvd a good number of the themes that wordpress.com has are pretty useless since they upgraded anyway. Like tt said you'll have to get a new theme.

tt: You have to admit that the only reason that wordpress.com has a 9 is because it's been around forever and every blog using the platform has a link to wordpress.com in the footer. Blog Floss is a new platfrom and they probably do offer better support right now because of that, and wordpress is the standard and their support is definitely not state of the art, though for a free platform it is well enough.

As far as I can see blogfloss uses the WordPress MU platform, so there's not much benefit switching from wordpress.com to blogfloss, at least the way I see it. Besides, in order to do pretty much anything, it seems you have to pay for a $19,95/year upgrade.

There is a ton of benefits to blogfloss.com that I didn't have with wordpress. Yes they do have a subscription service just like most other blogs. Two important benefits the blogfloss has over wordpress is there great SUPPORT and the ability to put your own ads on. Not to mention, they've incorporated some very important SEO into each and every theme. Yes they are new, but they also are owners of a well known social network too. You can say what you want. But I've used the others and I"m very happy with what I have going on with the blogfloss people.
