I'm kind of curious. I know some people have tried before, but how would you guys like selecting a few sites, and going through and submitting eachothers blogs to them? Like stumbleupon, digg, etc...

I think if we had some people who genuinly did it for eachother, then traffic to those blogs could grow exponentially. I did it with one person on here and it did make a difference. All be it small, but it did.

What do you guys think? Anyone interested?

Groups are where link exchanges take place at BC and there are groups at BC that you can join for networking purposes like you see outlined above. There's a Groups link on every BC page and you can use the search utility there to find the groups of your choice. If you wish you can even form your own group.

I typed in the names of the social networks and found these groups:
    www.blogcatalog.com/groups/tag/stumbleupon
    www.blogcatalog.com/groups/tag/Digg
    www.blogcatalog.com/groups/tag/Technorati
    www.blogcatalog.com/groups/tag/mixx
    www.blogcatalog.com/groups/tag/reddit

Please feel free to join the BC New Users Group. The group was created for the purpose of posting resource threads to the group noticeboard aimed at introducing bloggers, who are new members of BC, to the basics of effective networking and blog promotion within the BC community.

Let me tell u what I did.I went to. Twitter. It's not about being followed but its about following other people.Make friends talk 2 people learn what they r about and then it takes off from there. If more people would think about someone else bsides their own needs,u make a lot more friens and therfore people wanna know about u.Then they intro u 2 their friends. I even get dm's from Toby Keith now
