Anyone ever hired or was hired as a freelance writer for blog? I don't mean a guest blogging I mean really writing for the money. What would be the right price for the article in technical or semi-technical field in a size of 500 words? In other areas would be interesting too. How much did you had to pay or were paid? Is it worth hiring a writer? Is the freelance writing is the job worth doing?
Thanks.

There are better forums to research this topic .. do a search!
It's like buying and selling a house .. the buyer (aka blogger) wants to pay the least amount of money and and the seller (aka freelancers) wants to receive the most amount of money.
It's a matter of worth - or, perceived worth. You shouldn't sell yourself short. I always advice people interested in writing to search the gold first, then the reality .. and settle on something you are willing to live with.-
Thanks for your reply. I've been searching for some time now, but could not find any definite figures. My question is, what exactly a freelancer should be looking at? Like a dollar an article, or 10 dollars, or what?
I found few offers so far, and they were rather insulting, so I was just wondering if this is a reality, or they trying to insult my intelligence?
Thanks.
