I am a student at an art school.. Needless to say, homosexuality is very common in the arts. I was recently hit on by a girl and when I told a friend about it she completely freaked out..

what do you think about homosexuality??

Whatever makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone is fine with me. I find it amazing that anyone is homophobic.

To each his or her own.

I find it amusing that so many people even have enough time to care... I wonder why so many people fight to keep 2 people from being together when they love eachother

Homosexuality is just like heterosexuality, gross unless it's your preference.

I say live and let live.

As a gay guy, I find it quite lovely.

I think Gay people give the world a whole new texture.. Look at how much the world has changed

it's all good. I have found I am more attracted to bisexual men than straight men so I clearly have no issue

really? I've never dated a bisexual guy..

I feel like being bisexual is the new getting high on mary jane

it's oddly hot. You have more in common on average I've noticed they have the stereotypical fashion sense and good grooming of a gay man, but with one bonus feature.. they like women

lol o ok.. I guess I get it!!

plus, for the most part, they actually enjoy shopping with you, notice hair cuts/colors, etc

i'd be a lesbian if i weren't so fond of the cock-a-doodle-do i couldn't care less who sleeps with whom, as long as I get a piece one way or the other LOL

i think in an alternate universe I could be a lessie.. but I just love penis.. which is something I have in common with gay men

I don't care. Although I have been hit on by a couple gay guys before, and it's kind of uncomfortable.

Doesn't bother me, I don't know why it should.
    1. Sharonydouglas

I'm a lesbian and I have seen many women who have "freaked out" over women hitting on them. Usually, these very same women come out of the closet years later. Sometimes the act of homophobia is a reflection of who they really are. Look deeper. Also, take the advances from the lesbian as a compliment!

What causes fear? Uncertainty. Whether that's uncertainty of your own sexuality or uncertainty because of a lack of exposure, homophobia is a symptom of a closed consciousness.

People are just people. I just wish the homophobes in the world would grow up.

I don't mind homosexuality, but then again I am biased as I am big fabulous homo myself! My thoughts on Homophobia: It's the ignorant views held by people to scared to accept that there are people in the world different than them. People who are too scared to embrace the diversity of human nature. People who are too scared move beyond their own comfort zones. I hold them in the same regard as Racists!

In the words of a previous poster, I'm amazed that anyone is still homophobic these days. It wouldn't have been weird if a dude hit on you but the fact that it was a chick turns it into a whole different ballgame. Beware of the big, bad lesbian! It might rub off! Give me a break. With all the terrorism and war and murder going on in the world, a little same sex action is the least of our worries.

We're all people and should be treated as such. Homosexuality is only considered a big, dirty crime by bigots who have no idea how to accept people who are different than they are.

I agree, there are much worse things in the world to worry about!
    2. Sharonydouglas
oh my you said.. there are so many more important things to worry about.. We are all just human

I've been hit on gay men lots of times. I take it as a compliment.

And, actually, it's a lot less awkward than being hit on by a woman I'm not attracted to, since I can simply be honest and say I'm not gay rather than having b.s. to avoid hurting her feelings.
    1. cuteptaguy
You should take it as a compliment. Have you ever heard the phrase "he's too attractive the be straight".

I always believe in this theory that 'Two girls are better than one'
    1. cuteptaguy
LoL, it's just a pity for lesbians that would exclude a guy :-(
    2. sorcerer
Err. with the guy in the middle!!
    3. cuteptaguy
Oh the horror images your are burning into my mind's eye...

Being gay does not make one less of a person...so I guess its ok to be homo...as long as you are not hurting anyone...

Life is short so do the things that makes you happy...
