My brother-in-law surprised us with the delivery of a Honey Baked Ham. YUM! There's only three of us so most of it is in the freezer now but I've been having wonderful ham sandwiches for lunch every day since Christmas.

So what are the traditional eats (tucker?) for an Australian Christmas dinner? In the USA, turkey (Thanksgiving revisited) and ham are the leaders. Our Italian population adds in alot of pasta and seafood choices...

we have fish and turkey (not together though)

      prawns go down well

and plenty of booze to go round

I would love to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas at a hotel/motel/B&B and then eat out where they have an amazing spread! I hear PA's Amish country is nice for this but we are about a 2 hour drive from those areas and risk having to drive in snow or ice that time of year...so we've never gone!

I spent a night at the Hotel Buffet. The price was decent (seems I got a group rate, had to share my room with a hundred people) and I didn't get a wink of sleep.

On a scale of 5 hams I give it 1 ham hock.

Hey! You changed your face?! And please tell me how to get a photo onto a blog discussion. Every once in awhile I have a photo that someone might appreciate but don't know anything beyond right click and paste (and that doesn't work)

No, I'm pretty sure I have the same face. I did change my avatar, though

You can put images here by using the IMG tag as you would on any website:
< img src="URL GOES HERE" title="POP-UP TEXT GOES HERE" >

      With the bracket spaces removed.
