House Says Bloggers Don't Count As Journalists

"Two versions of a bill in Congress would enshrine a journalist’s right to keep his or her sources confidential, effectively banning the government from forcing journalists to reveal whistleblowers. One version though—the House version—gives an incredibly stupid definition of journalist that excludes not only bloggers, but freelancers, independents, and nonprofit journalists as well." -

well, let's hope the senate version prevails. certainly some bloggers are practicing journalism, but I don't think that all of them necessarily are. Then too, in all too many cases the employees of major media outlets aren't Really practicing journalism either.-
I'm a communications major, so yeah.

Every bloggers can't be journalist. To became a journalist they have to be some qualities.
