how are you carving your pumpkin

We carved our pumpkins today. How are you going to carve yours? Or do you have a picture of a carved pumpkin you would like to share?

I like the ones that throw up the pumpkin goo.

we got a rubber one with a bulb in it this year. for me it sucks, but I can appreciate my wife's point of view about rotting pumpkin on the porch, considering it's still and always 80 degrees + here.

I have two this year but haven't decided how to do them. My sons each have 1 and my granddaughter has one. The boys will carve theirs with me, it's a family tradition they actually enjoy. I'm thinking elaborate for one, simple for the other. And of course I'll cook up the seeds, we love pumpkin seeds. I'm doing half spicy and half sweet this year.

I am roasting the seeds right now. we just put salt and butter on them. As for the pumpkins rotting. I cant sit mine out side or the chickens will peck them but they dont rot the pigs eat them. They actually fight over them.

My daughters picked out a stensil of a fairy for me to use. It turned out better than I would have ever guessed.
