Yahoo depends on updated content a lot more than Google. That is one thing I know for an absolute fact. Beyond that I don't know.
If you do everything and still cant get good rankings - bribe! -

im do that.
but..
A sitemap won't help gain me places in the Yahoo SERPs, it's just a means to an end to help get all my pages indexed and to get recently updated pages re-spidered faster. Exactly the same as submitting an xml sitemap to Google. What it won't do is make my page go from #5 to #4 for a search term.

if im not mistaken, Yahoo mainly concentrate on on page factors.
but, is it okay to do keyword stuffing in my blog for better ranking in yahoo?. -
Try taking the Adsense off your posts.
Yahoo are not going to promote a blog with Adsense on every post.
Also your blog archives show like 1 or 2 posts a month sometimes. If you want more traffic you should be posting every day. Your archives show all the posts as well and you have a Google ad in each of them. If you look you will only see three ads showing because your not allowed to have more than 3 ads showing on one page. There should be a setting on your blog so you can only show three posts on one page.
Why do you want a better ranking in yahoo? Google get many more searches than Yahoo.
Hope that helps.
P.S. How comes no one knows about Yahoo rankings? Or is it because they haven't heard of Yahoo?
All search engines have rankings, that's how they rank web site pages. LOL -
If you owned Yahoo would you put sites at the top of the results with Adsense on them?
You also have a Google blog. If you want to look serious in the eyes of search engines you should get your own domain.
You won't get any proof of a search engine algorithm. Type mesothelioma lung cancer into the Yahoo search box and see how many sites in the first 20 have Adsense on them.
These are the sites you're competing with.-
"If you owned Yahoo would you put sites at the top of the results with Adsense on them?"
I just searched for mesothelioma lung cancer and the 3rd or 4th result had adsense.
Some webmasters are always saying Yahoo punishes people with adsense, and google punishes people who use YPN, but there is no credible evidence of either accusation.
As far as most of the top results not running adsense is concerned - one thing I've noticed lately is most authoritative sites in pretty much every niche have been dropping adsense for alternate forums of monetization. Those same sites are the ones that have loads of links and are the ones that make it to the top.
"You also have a Google blog. If you want to look serious in the eyes of search engines you should get your own domain."
It's actually pretty easy to rank on search engines using blogspot blogs. This is mostly because your leeching off blogger (subdomains are considered separate sites - but they still get quite a bit of juice being attached to authoritative domains). While I think getting your own domain is better (mostly for branding reasons), saying that blogspot blogs aren't taken seriously on search engines tells me you've never run a blogspot blog. Just an FYI - I used to run one that got hundreds of hits a day, around 80% of the traffic came from SEs (15% from Yahoo), and I hardly did any SEO for it.

Yahoo is most difficult SE to be indexed, it is hard to get ranking at yahoo. As it is difficult to be loved by yahoo, it is also very beneficial once yahoo starts loving you.
Getting through yahoo is not in our hand
Google is one and only SE whose organic search result can be manipulate in easiest way. -
Although Yahoo is a directory and not a search engine, about 10% of my unique visitors come from Yahoo.
The keywords 'my+recipes' give me position 3 in Yahoo ranking. There must be uncountable numbers of sites and blogs with those simple keywords. So, what´s the secret? I haven't the faintest idea. Maybe DMOZ - the open directory project, plays an important role in getting you a position in the Yahoo. -
I run a blogspot blog too and have been getting modest traffic from Google. But I am getting zero from Yahoo. I don't believe its because it is because I am using blogger or because I have adsense. There must be something else. I heard someone say DMOZ? Can you tell more? Thanks.

@gibo
It is said that Google’s directory comes straight from the DMOZ Directory so look into getting your blog site listed in it. The DMOZ, commonly known as the Open Directory Project has strict guidelines as to who is listed. Submission info can be found here dmoz.org/add.html
“If your site has been accepted into the Open Directory, it may take anywhere from 2 weeks to several months for your site to be listed on partner sites which use the Open Directory data, such as AOL Search, Google, Netscape Search, Yahoo Search, and hundreds of other sites. We make updates of the data available weekly, but each partner has their own update schedule.”
Here are the search engine submission links:

@azliyana
Have you registered your blog with Yahoo?
Yahoo frequents sites more than MSN but less than Google but will dramatically increase visits after submission. Here's the submission link for yahoo search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html
You should *NOT* submit your site to Google, Yahoo, and MSN more than once every 30 days. -
TimeThief,
I just saw your free submission urls. Thank you very much!!!
Do you know of any other free directories I need to register in for search engine results?
Thank you so much for your tips! I really appreciate it.-
@kerefathi
The $299.00 fee is only for sites that are registering businesses for Yahoo advertising. You need to scroll down to find the correct link.
The goal of Yahoo! Search is to discover and index all of the content available on the web to provide the best possible search experience to users. The Yahoo! Search index, which contains several billion web pages, is more than 99% populated through the free crawl process. Yahoo! also offers several ways for content providers to submit web pages and content directly to the Yahoo! Search index and the Yahoo! Directory:

- Suggest your site for inclusion in Yahoo! Search (requires registration). siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
Do you know of any other free directories I need to register in for search engine results?
Most bloggers just register with the big three (Google, Yahoo, MSN). If you want to register with other search engines then you can search on the net to find other search engines where you can register free of charge. FWIW I will be doing a resource post on blog directories in the near future. Also you can check the BC Discussion forum searchbox because you may find links in it.

Hi all. I've submitted my site to Yahoo a long time ago. And my site do come out in searches on Yahoo related to my site. I only want to rank better or appear higher on hit list. Will getting listed in DMOZ help? By the way, $299 a year is no way for me.

Will getting listed in DMOZ help?
Yes. However, the DMOZ, commonly known as the Open Directory Project has strict guidelines as to who is listed. Submission info can be found here dmoz.org/add.html
