i choose blogitoergosunt (I BLOG THEREFORE I AM) In LATIN.
with a mistake. Should have been BLOGITOERGO SUM (in Latin) but I figured that the mistake would make it more peculiar.
  2. Darkblaze37
well, at first i chose thedaytheworldends but then i thought it was too large and it felt a little biblical, so I changed it to farblaze.blogspot.com with no sub names or anything, just farblaze (Plus, the page is all black and it only has a blue on/off button in the center)
    1. piodalcin
      i'd like to hear it
    2. DrowseyMonkey
that's why I included the link ... it tells you alllll about it, lol
  3. lordiwanttobewhole
I was feeling lost and down one day and I was reading a book entitled..."Lord I Want to be Whole", I glanced at the book beside me and went with that name. It is fitting though, because my blog chronicles my journey to wellness and becoming whole.
    1. piodalcin
      hmmm makes me think
  4. OzScot
Because as a domain name it's worth thousands to the Scotch whisky industry and was incredibly available! It also represents what my blog is about.

  5. clioandme
I just tried out a variety of simple possibilities. Then I played around with what was available on my blogging platform and I checked Google to make sure the names weren't taken already.
    1. piodalcin
      so you're made of stone?
    2. clioandme
      This is my real name.
  6. sulz
my blog's name is bloggerdygook; a blending of blogging and gobbledygook. the tagline explains it: blogging gobbledygook and such.
    1. piodalcin
need more explanation...got me confused on this one
    2. Lucyvp
      Cool name! I like it!
    3. sulz
      thanks lucyvp!

piodalcin: it just means that my blog is a space for my nonsense (gobbledygook), that's all.
  7. ShadowCrystal
Actually, mine was a second choice... I original chose "Shadow's Brobdingnagian Trove", but then I thought that might sound pompous, too fantastical, and just turn people off... so I went with "Shahow's Far-Out Corner of the Web"... which basically is a good description of the site. lol
    1. piodalcin
      i like this name
  8. momscrazylife
moms crazy life ,,, pretty self explanatory
  9. OutsideMyBrain
outsidemybrain.wordpress.com - Musings, Humor and more

www.outsidemybrainagain.blogspot.com - I empty the contents of my mind here - so that you can see.

wayoutsidemybrain.wordpress.com - Rants about Big Brother, Conspiracy Theories, UFO's and more. (this one is still under construction)

I was looking for something unique and it came to me, that once I write something down, or type it, it is now "Outside My Brain"
    1. piodalcin
      like that
    2. Lucyvp
Ah, if you like to rant about paranormal stuff and conspiracies, you'd like our forum

      www.planet-flipside.com/vboard/index.php
    3. OutsideMyBrain
Thanks Lucyvp, I bookmarked that site.
  10. davet
i have 3 blogs...but have been concentrating more so on one of them as of late. dailyinsurer.blogspot.com came about as i used to work in the insurance industry and figured i could provide some info/news etc. for agents and consumers that would be beneficial.
    1. piodalcin
      nice thought
  11. jaffermaniar
I used my last name along with "Raving Maniac" to create: ManiaRavings
  12. ekim941
My name backwards and then random ramblings which is pretty self explanatory. The only downside is that it ended up being a very long url after blogspot added the last part

    ekim-randomramblings.blogspot.com

    That's a lot of typing
    1. OzScot
Damn and I thought ekim was Norwegian or something? So can I call you Mike now?

      Ben
    2. piodalcin
      ehehehe
    3. ekim941
Silly neb, I'm Floridian, not Norwegian.
    4. aningeniousname
You're not Norwegian?? I should have guessed they're not many black guys in Norway.
    5. earthlingorgeous
ohhhhhhhh... so your real name is Mike... hi Mike nice to meet you!
    6. ekim941
      Oh Brother!!!

and people I know personally are starting to call me Ekim
      It's friggin weird folks
    7. Lucyvp

    8. OutsideMyBrain

  13. husla3x
I named my blog "diary of a poor black milwaukee screwup" because thats what i was when i started it. I wanted to document my rise out of the temptations of ghetto life and into the life of a normal man and kill the whole ghetto super star i was.

My Thoughts was something that didn't require much thought.
The Heart of a Mom is the title of my gram's book.
I came up w/ the title of Proof Positivity 12 years ago. I am really involved in community service and I studied broadcast journalism. I told someone once "There should be some way to prove positivity to the world. I'm sick of the if it bleeds it leads mentality." The idea of Proof Positivity was born. Although I have always intended for it to be a TV news program.
  16. azureislands
    My blog is azureislandsdesigns.blogspot.com

The name of my jewelry line is Azure Islands Designs

When I was trying to decide the name of my company I woke up in the middle of the night thinking Azure and what color it represented, don't ask me why...and...I love the Caribbean Islands...so I put the two together.
    1. piodalcin
      that makes sense
  17. earthlingorgeous
Hmmm I choose Earthly Explorations (earthlyexplorations.blogspot.com/) because:

    1) My nickname is Earth and I blog about anything that my head explores
    2) Earthly Explorations seems appropriate because it's some kind of "earthly explorations" Earthly emotions, anger, hate, frustration, PMS etc. venting and ranting and sometimes useless talk/explorations/writing about shallow things
    3) it turned out I can make some extra money out of it so it's really earthly ...

    My Happiness Haven (thehaven-earthlingorgeous.blogspot.com/) because:

1)I want to have some place where I can just be positive, inspiring, reflective and not shallow or moody
    2) I want to appreciate simple things in life because I'm tired being frustrated about things I want but don't get
    3) Writing this thought provoking things makes me reflect
    4) If this blog helps others , even just one person to appreciate his/her life better, I am happy glad to be able to do that...

    E=mc2
    domestique = French word
    French = chic

Mine is a play on words.
Inertia means “A body in motion tends to remain in motion, a body at rest tends to remain at rest.”

My site is all about Autoplay Jukebox thus I replaced the i with a v (for video) and ended up with: Vnertia.com = “A series of video’s in motion tends to remain in motion."

Of Cabbages and Kings is part of a Lewis Carroll poem, "The Walrus and the Carpenter"...

'The time has come,' the Walrus said
    'To talk of many things:
    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
    And whether pigs have wings.'

As it's a humor blog with original stories on just about anything, it seemed like a good fit.

I decided on Artist Perpetually in Progress for my art blog because I wanted to convey my general attitude and also make the purpose clear when only the title was seen.

Inventing Elephants for my thought blog came from an iteration of ideas beginning with my desire to think better and passing through a parable I'd related to with my art about the five blind men and the elephant. I actually wrote a detailed blog entry on this one... inventingelephants.com/2008/01/18/naming-inventing-elephants/
    1. ThriftShopRomantic
I like the "Inventing Elephants" title very much. It has just the right ring to it for the type of blog you describe.
    2. piodalcin
      thats different
  36. katarokkar
it's named after a Bjork song from her Gling Glo album. Also I thought it was catchy.
  37. ortho
    ramonaiftode.com is my actual name.
orthodontics-today.com was created with the main keyword in my mind. It's gonna gather some information I was able to find about this after 1 year of wearing braces (Damon) and now Invisalign. As I straighten my teeth and learn some more, I'd like to inform others ...
    1. piodalcin
do you know of a cheap dentist?
  38. christinebean
I used my own name along with a twist on it....no ill will intended, but I'm Hispanic. I married someone with the last name of Bean (God's got a sense of humor as do I). Back in the 90's we were written up in a National computer magazine for having the most unique computerized bulletin board name using our name...thus BeansTalk or BeansTalkline. Thanks, Christine Bean
