   I follow what interests me, which often means I will give a tweeter a chance but if I find what they tweet either uninteresting I may un-follow. More often I find myself annoyed by over-tweeting. It's like spam. I un-followed Ashton Kutcher for this reason.

      Thank God, I didn't Twitter follow Ashton Kutcher. Thanks for the heads-up. I almost added him on the first day I joined.
      
      I receive enough spammers by their updates. I started to unfollow many. The good news is that alot of them are getting suspended daily because the system reads repeats of links and similar text.

    A suggestion is to search keywords of topics that interest you. Then read some of those tweets. Find a common interest. If you one strikes a fancy, then follow. Direct message of introduction and your interest. Keep it simple.
    
    I'm learning more info on online marketing, blogs, humor, quotes, family, food, seminars, webinars, and videos.

    I followed the advice on rockfuse
    they had a good group of tools , though tweepular is no longer around I use to use that tool to add followers it was great
