Three & half years back... I decided to blog.. I don't know how many blogs i have created.. Maybe more than 50. Those days my blog lifeline was only a month. DELETION seems to be my hobby.

Thank God finally my blog is lasting for at least a year now.
    Blogging is my passion.

Thanks for Stumbling & Reviewing my blog.

I was trying it out to archive my poems and it got off from there. I started adding photographs to them to illustrate the text to archive some photographs. I thought it added another element of emotion. That's how it began, and I update it roughly once a week.

I used to email humorous bits and pieces from my life to my family and friends and they kept telling me I needed to try and publish my work. Tried submitting some stories to traditional media outlets, but got nowhere. Thought it better to publish myself, and the blog was born.

I saw some good blogs on blog catalog which inspired me to follow suit. I was challenged and at the same time it was quite fascinating to have the power to communicate your opinions and sentiments without worrying about being rebuked or being suspected a nut case. Blogging was pretty cool...

I will say that I have too many burning ideas in my mind. One of them is about referral programs. I wonder how many people use or if there's a network for people to exchange them. Here's one example, early this year my friend visited me and liked my apartment. He wanted to move to my apartment complex so he put me down as a referrer. Just by doing that, I earned $300 sixty days later. That's one referral program not to mention the hundreds which are out there for other services and products.

I "STUMBLEd" upon it. Heh heh. Get it?

No, seriously, I just wanted a way to vent online besides doing it on forums. Blogging takes a giant leap beyond the casual few sentences here and there and really allows you to be creative.

I was preparing to move half way around the world when one of my coworkers suggested that I do it as a way to keep everyone informed of my adventures.

That was nearly five years ago. I'm still blogging.

I started my blog ages ago but have only recently really taken it up 'big-style'! I decided to have a seperate blog because of my Eeyore collection, thought I would show that to the world. And as I am making a big life change soon I thought I would document that, so blog three was born!

Honestly? I was home sick for a few days from work last fall (roughly a year ago to the day) and got bored. Figured I'd give it a shot. Should've known my OCD would kick in.

After running up a particularly steep hill one day, I sat on the pavement and decided to cry into my own sweat, salt of the earth exuding from my emotional torment. Literally detoxifying my failing pores......I decided then I needed to make a change, I decided to scrap all my naff business ideas and just write a 'naff' blog with no discernible subject or product. Just to while away the odd 10 minutes at coffee time much the same as you would do if you came to visit. I probably get more visits to my blog than I did to any of my websites.....never had any money to market them properly after sometimes the correct optimization. Now I only waste my time wasting yours. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Life just wouldn't be the same again........

Interests, definitely-- and a love of writing about them. The web became a very fun and easy way to do both.

i'm blogging because i'm trying to get discovered by oprah, and it just seems more legal than stalking her (but not nearly as effective unfortunately).

I'm blogging because I love Thailand

I began to blog as a means of social networking. But I found that so many of the blogs I had seen were just diaries of angst in people's personal lives. So I wrote articles on things I had learned. The community for which I blogged at the time had a few thinkers, but most turned out to be just in it to attract another sexual conquest. Eventually I shut down that blog and left that community altogether. The current blog I have is still pretty new, and hopefully would be able to keep better control over commentator spam.

I got into blogging because of the legal situation I was in when in Belgium, that was 7 years ago and it is still going, the legal situation and the blog.
  22. richardm
I started blogging simply because i hate the government
  23. Caromie
I used to comment a lot on other peoples blogs but never really had my own (other than the one I used to communicate with my family and friends back in the UK). One of the blog owners (RelaxMax), suggested that I write my own blog, and then Song of Happiness was born. ta da!
  24. timethief
I read blogs for years without commenting before I became a blogger. I don't have monetized blogs. I blog about those things that I am passionate about.

I was doing so much work for environmental organizations and trying to cope with creating newsletters, research, email & writing that I decided to use a blog to serve the same purpose. My first blog was an environmental blog and my second one was a blog where I blogged about everything I learned about blogging. I found that I liked blogging about how to blog better than I liked environmental blogging and arguing with climate change deniers so I deleted the first blog. In time I also created a personal development blog.

  25. irtiza104
hi, i am irtiza and i started blogging just 2 and a half month earlier. at first, to b honest, i knew almost nothing about blogging. i just considered it as a online diary-nothing more. but soon enough i realized that blogging is much more than that...much much more.

now i blog to make a difference, to bring a change. i blog about stuff that matters to me. As poverty, hunger, thirst, war are taking it's toll over this beautiful world of ours i try to blog about these. i try to raise consciousness. i know that i am still far away from my goal but i'm happy with the progress. soon i'd like to blog about environment.

oh, and i do however sometimes ramble about some personal stuff.

    u r welcome www.lifeasiknowit22.blogspot.com

I enjoy listening to music to the point where I always caught myself recommending bands. In fact, it was what consumed my freetime and I could spend hours just talking music to a fellow music-lover. Music is a passion for me and I had to put it in writing and spread the words of bands I loved and needed more exposure.

bc someone told me of blogger, but i have always liked facebook bettar than blogging, then someone told me to stop wasting time on facebook so i closed that account, then i did it because i realized that playing through all of the tony hawk games in my free time was wasting my life so now i only do micro posts and leave it at that

It was and is a cathartic outlet for recovering from being assaulted. I also write about yoga and spiritual topics. Its also therapy for my writing - getting past writers' block, feeling free to write and trying not to be my own worst critic, which typically stops the flow of the writing.
  31. jadedconformist
I'd always been one to keep a journal, so I started keeping one online in 2004. Of course, with a little less personal info than I'd normally be inclined to write.
  32. rmaxwell142
I started my current blog because I love history and I've been a avid history buff for years. On top of that, I love to write too. I started it after watching a great series on the History Channel and wanting to recommend it to others. It's grown from to talk about all kinds of subjects related to history.

Blogging gives me an outlet to share my passion for history and to talk about what I'm learning!

I started my blog initially as a research tool to find out the affects that sexy content has on a web site www.kasumiseo.co.uk/sexy-seo/
Its popularity has encouraged me to move my blog onto its own domain, and I now use it to share tips, articles and news about SEO and online marketing.

well... keeping a diary is too cumbersome and 20th century.

blogging was the ideal 21st century solution.

I've always been passionate about food and original recipe creation. When I won the grand prize in a recipe contest, it gave me the mental push I needed to start a daily food blog.
  43. gemjeweled
I started out blogging with money in mind. If not for that then I would not be blogging about my interests.

As I gained some loyal visitors, I began to get more motivated on blogging about my next post, without thinking much about money.

I believe my life story has shaped me into the person I am and I decided that blogging would be a good way to share that story. My hope is that men who have life wounds will find some healing as they read my blog and then repair the damage to the relationships they value that their wounds have caused.
