The easy way is just to forward it to your blog. You can try by going to settings then publishing, but it seems like there is a little trick is doing it that way.
check out blogger help on that one.
I have both my names forwarded to my blogs.

If you want your blogger blog content to be what people see when they go to www.yourdomain.com you have a few steps to take.
First, go to blogger and make sure that the template setting is set to classic else it shouldn't work.
Then Under settings tab, go to Publishing, you'll want to choose the Custom Domain option. You'll need the blogger nameserver(gs.something.something) so that the internet can find your pages. The nameserver has to be entered into the DNS area of the webhost for your domain. If you had a domain at Yahoo, you'd go into the domain management area and choose DNS setting. You'll have to put in the blogger nameserver settings.
The internet sees you and blogger as two separate domains, by adding blogger to your domain's DNS database you will be telling the internet that your domain files are located at blogger even though your domain is located at say, Yahoo.
Domains and websites are 2 different things to the internet. You can have a domain hosted in one place and a website hosted in another place. Changing the records at the domain to include the actual domain information of the website host will have the internet first find your domain and then go to the webhost server(Blogger in the example) and use the files there whenever someone connects to the domain(Yahoo in the example).
It shold take about 24 to 48 hours before the new setup propragates the internet. Propragate means that all of the internet computers that send traffic to their destination will get a record of the new changes which means people around the world can now find your website since the domain changed proprogated, completely.
You can also use redirection. You can have your domain url www.yourdomain.com redirect to the blogger url. you.blogspot.com.
Your users will see the you.blogspot.com in the address bar if you do not have a service to mask the url with your www.yourdomain.com. This is easier and the results are instant, pratically, but your domain name will not show in the address bar and people only come to your domain once and then get sent to blogger and stay their so the address bar will show blogger as the domain they are located on. check with your domain host to see if they offer masks for redirected domain traffic so that its your domain name the user sees even though they hav e been redirected to blogger.
You can also redirect with HTML. Your index.html page will have a refresh META tag that says after 99 seconds redirect to this url, the syntax is:
content = the number in seconds to wait to redirect URL is the url you're directing to.
Redirecting vs DNS record changes.
If you plan for the domain to strickly be your blogger blog then DNS record changing is best. If you plan to do other stuff besides blogger then redirection is best.
Hope this is helpful.
There are help pages for this you can review. -
Worldlifesite, that was very informative, and extremely helpful, but I am having some MAJOR problems with my domain host, and they are not being helpful at ALL, so I'm having to do searches to find my answers, and that is how I ended up here.
Blogger says to go in and change the name server to ghs.google.com, but when I try to do this at my domain host, I get an error message and it won't "take." My domain host told me to use http:// in front of it...that didn't work either and I haven't heard back from them about this. I decided to do the URL forwarding...for now.
My question is this: If I decide I want to work on raising my page rank by article writing and post my new URL around at the article places, will it still help the page rank at my blog since the new URL is only forwarding to my blogspot.com address? Or will the nameserver have to be changed in order to use the new URL to improve the page rank?-
No no - don't change the nameserver. Just create a cname record pointing to "ghs.google.com." Leave your name server as it is and set your cname for pointing the subdomain to the right url. Say for example my site www.thondomraughts.com. I created a cname record for "www." to point to "ghs.google.com." Remember to put in the ending dots for the names. Please post questions if you have any on my profile.
