How do I improve my Blog Rank?

When I first got on Blog Catalog mr rank jumped a couple of points in the first few weeks. It now seems to have stagnated. How do I go about getting it to keep going up?

It is Rank's daddy....seriously, you just have to keep building up a network in here....gradually that will build traffic toward your site...especially if you post often. Good luck.

Here are a few tips straight from the source.

1. Blog regularly. BlogCatalog knows when you've been slacking.
2. Add a Widget. Adding a BlogCatalog widget is a great way to increase you BlogRank and it helps out fellow BlogCatalog members as well.
3. Rating and Reviews. Ask your friends to leave useful reviews on you blog listing page.
4. Tag Your Blog. make sure you have relevant tags on your blog listing so your blog can easily be found
5. Complete Your Profile. Upload an avatar, fill out your profile, make some friends and join some neighborhoods. This is one of the most beneficial things you can do.

  I added the widget, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Does it take a few hours for the 10 points to be credited?

I have the widget, post pretty much 6 times a week. I will start tracking down people here to try and garner more reviews.

I have been wondering how the ranking in here works. I knew about the widgets, of course, as that was noted when we signed up, but I wondered what else effected it.

I've been witnessing a gradual decline in my rank over the past couple of weeks. Where it was once over 74 it's now in the high 60s.

My daily visits aren't doing me any favours it seems.

Okay, maybe I just don't get it, but I prefer simply to write and read about what interests me. Ratings? Whatever. Maybe if you're trying to get some ad revenue . . . Even then, though, content matters most. There's so much interesting stuff to read and so little time. One other thing I notice that might feed ratings worries: The search capabilities on this site are fairly limited, so users have to be willing to slog through a lot of links before finding what they're looking for.

  I completely agree. I typed in my actual blog title, and there were like three pages of results before mine. The search here isn't pulling up blogs that are the most relevant. It's a bummer.

  the search does not only check the blog title for relevancy but also the blog description.

Well, it took a while, but it apparently did work. My rank skyrocketed while I was sleeping last night. So the widget does work!

First you must go top to the google your"Blog Title".To do So you must have blog of no negative commenting character in it than jump to the efficiency of search keyword as change your blog title as needed to be listed in top ten of the google search pad if the title of your blog is inserted to be searched than so on.
