How do I List & Thumbshot my blog on BlogCatalog?

not List & not Thumbshot???

You can also use BlogCatalog's XML-RPC interface to automatically ping BlogCatalog from within your weblog software. Simply add rpc.blogcatalog.com/ into your weblog software's configuration for Pings and Notifications.

I have no problem updating my thumbshots.
(1) I click "manage blogs" and after the page loads I click the title of my blog.
(2) Once the page loads I look in the sidebar and click "Update Your Thumbshot".
(3) Once that page opens I click the big "Update My Thumbshot" button and it appears in the queque and it's updated later on.
I suggest that if you have confirmed that your RSS feed is operating correctly then you may want to contact Admin for help www.blogcatalog.com/contact/ -
I also have had issues with my thumbshot on one of my blogs and I can't seem to get an answer. I guess I will try the contact help again.

The bottom line here is that other BC members cannot assist with thumbshots, and only Admin can so posting here may not be the most expeditious way to go to get help. On the up side clicking on the gray image does take one to the appropriate blog so the issue is just one of appearance and not one of functionality. whew!

I do not know what you are talking about. I posted the instructions for updating your thumbshot above. If you cannot read them please get an English speaking friend to help you.
