How do you advertise and or promote your blog?

Please share how you get traffic to your blog whether it be SEO, Print, Radio, Word of Mouth and also where does most of your traffic come from?

This week I plan to have 5,000 post card sized ad's printed and then pay for them to be distributed in Berkeley, San Francisco and Oakland.

    Why would you pay money to get people to read your website? If you're saying something worth reading, people will spread it FOR you. Otherwise, it's not worth everyone else's time.

      Yes, I get somewhere around 10k average mostly out of the United States it really depends what I am blogging about.

      10k views a day - My blog is 2 months old and I havent had 10k total views...

    Thats awesome amount of page views!

    bkerensa, I rely on word of mouth and a few social sites - entrecard has been a great amount of my traffic, Its leveled off, but gained some good readers here and there.

    networking, word of mouth, etc. i'm doing an insurance blog (one of my three), so started sending links to different insurance companies, groups, etc. it is still a little slow to start, but hope to grow it.
