I rarely get comments on my blog. I suppose thats because I rarely get any visitors at my blog =P
So far, i only have 5 comments overall in my blog after opening it for a month.
And because of this rareness of comments, every time I get a comment, I feel delighted and happy.
How about you?
I'd love to know how you feel...

I enjoy getting comments. It lets me know that someone actually read the post and it allows me to connect with other bloggers by writing them back.
As for little vists & posts on your end. Try joining more discussions, putting your blog on Twitter, Technorati, DIGG etc ... Look for other blogs that have a support community geared towards certain niches etc. Get yourself out there and you'll start to see results. -
I agree with both comments above. Comments on an actual post gives me a bigger smile than one in the shout box. Not that I don't appreciate comments there. I certainly do. It is just when a viewer singles out a specific post and makes a pertinent comment that my ego glows! And the more detailed the comment the brighter my smile grows. "Yeah, Ralph!" the Muse always says, giving a positive pat on my back. "Keep on truckin', guy!" ( big grin)

Comments are amazing. Even if they are just to say hey great post! Everyone tastes as good as the last.

I absolutely love anytime somebody leaves a comment. I think we all take pride in what we write, otherwise our writing would be sitting in a shoebox somewhere or tucked into a private word document alone in our documents folder. Instead, we all post blogs, to reach within ourselves, and also to reach out to each other.
Comments on my blog allow me to feel that I have shared a part of myself and acknowledgement from the reader, gives me the push to keep writing, the critique to improve, and the heart to continue to reach out. -
Oh, I enjoy the comments-- and I have a few regular commenters who are extremely funny people. So I think they probably entertain me more than I entertain them. I love it.
It takes a while to build up regular commenters. Hang in there. Keep blogging, and be patient. I know it's not easy. But gaining an audience really takes time. -
I feel utterly defeated and depressed whenever I get comments on my blog. I started a blog with the express purpose of being utterly ignored by every living soul out there in internet land. Why won't people just leave me alone? I just want to be bitter and twisted.

Haha... do you really want to know? First, I get surprised. Then, I get this big flood of exhilaration. And then I quickly open it. Then I jump around my house a few times before trying to answer the comment properly. :)And then I scratch my head and yell and scream out of happiness. And then I sing and dance. And I bounce on my chair.
And that's me. -
I get a boost when I receive a meaningful thought out comment. I think "thank God. Someone is actually reading my blog and finding it interesting!".
I get fed up when I see comments which are nothing more than link drops and it is obvious that they haven't even read the blog post they are supposedly commenting on.
