What is the best way to get traffic or reader to blog?

    In blogging content is king and marketing is queen. If you write high quality original content and promote it then the result may be an increase in organic traffic, or not. If it’s not easy to locate your content in search engines then there will be no increase in new traffic. Thus, what determines success is two things:
    * whether or not your blog content is found, and
    * whether or not the readers who do find it become subscribers.

    I'm a strictly whitehat SEO blogger. I recommend only what Google approves of. I'm not into any gray area stuff, or blackkhat "game the search engines" optimization tactics.

    Since I last posted to this thread I have published a very popular post that I would like to share. The post contains 25 steps to increasing blog traffic with an emphasis on gaining targeted readers, as opposed to a flood of one hit wonders who create a high bounce rate.

    If you are focused on gaining an organic (unpaid) flow targeted readers, rather than a tsunami of passers through who may click ads, then my post will be of interest to you, provided you are willing to do the hard work required to achieve success.
