Ok, so I have went thru this crap before. Where my feeds were wrong.

Blog spot bloggers, recently had to transfer their feeds from feed burner too Google? m-kay.

I am not sure whether my two feeds work? When I attempted to input mt blog to twitter- it said the feed was incorrect. so I added the blogs title to the end of the feed.

Twitter than accepted. Any of you technical brainiacs know how I can actually check if my feeds are working?...

Cuz, I sure in the hell don't! LOL :):)

and thank you for your time..

good question HB! After a new post, I usually had a spike in new visitors, who would show up as navbar etc. in recent visitors on Statcounter. Not this time though?

well the visitors have not been updated w/my neo counter- the very last visitor over 17 hrs ago lol

Well if you subscribe to your own blog in google you can tell because you will see it. I have mine on my homepage, it comes up slower than the readers but I don't want it on my reader.

Try viewing the actual link in your web browser. The rss data should come up. Also try loading up the feed in google reader.

If you're successful with both, I'd consider everything working.

with twitter use your standard website feed, don't use feedburner and you should be right..
Also i agree with Cooper subscribe to your own feed, that way you defintely know if there is an issue...

Hey Harley - yah - I can kinda help here - sorta - feedburner - get yourself a feedburner (very easy to do).

    for linkups try:

    yourblog.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated
    or
    yourblog.blogspot.com/atom.xml
    or
    yourblog.blogspot.com/rss.xml

But my suggestion is to get feedburner going - because they rock.

Google recently did something that cause atom.xml and rss.xml to not be valid as sitemaps any longer. So - the
    feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated

is the only way bloggers can put in the sitemap at Google.

thx4tips. I subscribed to my Atomfeed and it shows up on googlereader. I think I read that feed readers may not show for a period...

I'll have to look into that sitemap question though

    Hi all
I also switched from Feedburner to Google but didnt have any problems
i have a feed on Google reader just to make sure my blog is being updated and so far so good
and yes... i also get a surge in new readers after a new post but get a down turn during the week.... seems to me most people grab the feed at the weekend and then drop it during the week
check out my blog and let me know what you think

If your feedburner feed is not working then you can choose your Atom feed. At the bottom of your blog posts you will find a link "Subscribe to Post Atom".

You can copy this link and use this for any purpose.

    e.g My Atom feed is
    theartofstart.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

    and my Feedburner feed is
    feeds.feedburner.com/keshavsaini
