Hi, here's the question:

Do you always go for a cup of plain black joe or do you prefere a vanilla coffee with cream and sugar. Maybe you like something really exotic?

I'd really like to know how you most enjoy the coffee that you drink, it will help me keep my recipes interesting.

Thanks for jumping in.

    Black.

Though, if it's crappy coffee, I'll add sugar....

Is there no hazelnut flavor in it?
    2. Stillthinking
No, I like hazelnut in a latte, but not when I am drinking straight espresso.

my first cup is with cream and sugar and from there I just add fresh coffee and nothing else until I end up with my last cup being mostly black coffee.

In just about any way, shape or form that coffee can be consumed. Except for iced coffee. Iced coffee is crud.

cold brew coffee is the best ever!

I thought that too until I tried an iced Nescafe. That stuff is like liquid crack it's so good.

But all those Starbucks iced concoctions? Just awful!
    4. cookingasshole
oh yeah I am talking about the concentrate stuff. Where you put in a shot and fill the rest with ice and water
    5. Stillthinking
That's exactly what Nescafe is! My mom made my try it because it's really popular in Korea.

Coffee is coffee and shakes are shakes. They cannot mix the two. Starbucks should just scrap their iced coffees and make coffee ice cream milk shakes instead.

Ever had Hong Kong coffee? MMMM that's good stuff.
    8. Stillthinking
Most Starbucks customers do not share your sentiment.

Hey, coffee ice cream shakes aren't half bad. But I digress......

Coffee milkshakes, yeah. They're excellent. Iced coffees, tho? Blech!

Paris had the best espresso. I usually don't drink coffee here in the States, but in Paris I drank so much espresso. It was just so good.
    1. gtally
      And Hong Kong coffee?
    2. Stillthinking
I've never had it. What's in it other than coffee beans that have been scatted out by wild cats.
    3. Nightbird
Yes please, what gtally said. What's it?
    4. Nightbird
      Ok, thanks.

Sometimes it's a third coffee, a third black tea and a third sweet condensed milk. Other times it's just tea and the milk.

Oh, I've had this before. Both the coffee and tea versions. Only I thought it was called Thai coffee.

Those darn Thais stealing credit for stuff.

      Yes, damn good.

I just like one cream, two sugars, in my normal restaurant coffee flavored, coffee. I often find myself getting frustrated when confronted with the massive verities of flavors at coffee shops. I dont want coffee that tastes like vanilla, I dont want coffee that tastes like nuts and I don't want coffee that tastes like chocolate. I just want the coffee that tastes the most like coffee.
