How Do You Put Your Avatar in Browser?

BC has its avi in the browser. so does everyone else. My site has the ugly Internet explorer icon. How do I change it?

go to www.iconj.com/icon_generator.php
put up your a little icon of yours...
Now you'll get a link
then...
copy this
< link h re f='/ fav icon. ic o' rel= 'sho rtcut icon' / >
and
the link that you get from iconj.com....
and place it just below the
YOUR BLOG TITLE
it will look like this...
< title >YOUR BLOG TITLE < title >

IE has some problem is displaying favicon. You will need to a little work there.
What blog platform are you using? -
I know how to do it in blogger, I don't know what platform you use. It is possibly the same method if you have access to the HTML.
I had to put
(link rel="shor tcut icon" h r ef="URL OF YOUR ICON AT GOOGLEPAGES" /)
after the
(t itle) and (/t itle) tags
-obviously with the correct brackets. Favicons don't work in all browsers for some reason, so I've heard. The image also has to be a .ico image, you can make icons here -

Wow!!!! Somebody screwed up the code on this thread! LOL
I use this favicon generator. It appear that some of the generators don't work correctly with IE7.

You can also download the free favicon maker. Easy intsall drop and paste any image and it will convert it to icon -
