U asking if jews are a cruel race. How woul u feel if I asked u is islam a cruel race since some of them decide to blow themselves up and take many innocent lives with them? I bet u would feel offended. Even if you are not the one blowing yourself up.......I bet you would think that was a racist statment....hmmmmm I wonder how the jews are looking at you rigt now.-
Giving Hadiey the benefit of the doubt, I believe he is only looking for a level headed, non biased, fresh perspective on how we perceive the Jewish state and to some extent the Jewish people.
I am saying this as I take his words at face value, and I trust that he means what he says without ulterior motive. -
I disagree. Apparently the original post, which Hadiey severely edited, characterized Jews as subhuman and was otherwise very ugly with respect to Jews. I think Hadiey is looking for support in his bigotry and for some peculiar reason thinks to find it here. -

Dear Israeli supporter After watching this photos, If you still support Israel, then I have nothing to tell. Israeli Army are willingly killing Palestini children , so that in future there will be nobody to protest them.
If Palestini people protest against this hideous genocide, they telecast that Muslims are terrorist and they are killing Israeli with suicide. Dear Israeli Supporter, If you take a look on ratio, you will be amazed: 1 Israeli Live : 100 Palestini lives(including innocent children). How will you judge this?

You also changed your initial message having removed your remarks about Darwin and your overall indication that the Jewish people are sub-human. -
so be more specific then. If you actually want to have a real discussion, then say something meaningful. Stop writing one or two line posts just to see how many people you can rile up . or whatever your intention is. -
Israel is a very loaded word. I don't believe your vague question was intended to have any kind of friendly discussion that benefits anybody here.

I dont think there should be a jewish state, or a state dependant on peoples religion.
I live in a very multi cultural city, a city very tolerant of each others religion.
The city gets lit up for christian, muslim and hindu celebrations.
I think tolerance is an important thing, and while jewish religion is being accepted, should a Jewish state be accepted?

First of all, Israel is not a race, it is a nation. If you refer to Israel as a race, then you are talking about Jews, since modern Israel was founded by and for Jews.
To what actions are your specifically referring? It is difficult to answer what I think about their actions since there have been a lot of actions undertaken by Israel as a nation and by its individual citizens in the past 60+ years. Exactly what are you referring to?
If you are asking what I think of Israel's policies, I would have to say that many are harsh, but because of 6+ decades of attack by their neighbours, they have been forced to harshness for survival's sake. If the neighbouring countries would treat Israel with peace and goodwill, I expect Israel would eventually reciprocate. But as long as the neighbours attack, Israel has to defend herself by any means possible.
If you are asking what I think of Jews, you should know that my late husband was Jewish and his mother was a survivor of the German concentration camps of WWII. I admire them as a people, although I do not share their religious leanings.
So, if you are looking for someone to join you in Jew-baiting or Israel-bashing, you've come to the wrong place. -
It happened in 1948!!!! Its over. I actuall do have a couple of relatives who were killed in ww2,there homes in germany taken away,but guess what we moved on. That was in 1939. Not to many years before isreal was declared a state. I'm sure that the people back then had a right to be mad just like my relatives did. We are talking about a few generations later. I'm not over in germany right now trying to claim what used to belong to me.no I'm over here living my life with a smile on my face. You should do the same

I answered your question. Isreal was founded a state in 1948. I'm sure they did unsavory things to make that happen. No one is questioning that. I said its time to get over it. Move on enjoy life. I mean seriously - the world is one big blue marble that is hurtling thru space at an unbelivable fast rate... And we're ALL on that big blue marble.
Isn't it about time that we all decided to understand that each person is an individual that makes up a community?
And that we should all try to focus on things that make us happy about each other - instead of trying to focus on what can "STIR THE POT" or make others angry?

If your little country was surrounded by hostile nations that clearly stated their intent was to destroy you, if they lobbed bombs into your schools and sent suicide bombers onto your busses, killing children and old people, wouldn't you create a strong military and barricade your border and be rather hostile to the people who were trying to grind you to dust?
You don't even live in the Middle East...you live half a world away...and you are being hostile to an entire nation of people you have never even met!! You are more guilty than any Israeli or Jew, hating people you don't know and have never met who are merely trying to defend themselves and their nation against people like you.

I believe both are being religious and stupid, but Israel is to be blamed for their coward behavior, I mean, killing civilians just because they think there might be a terrorist hiding there? According to my friends from there they also have this racist belief that they are better than some other races...I'm not saying they're evil by nature because that would be ridiculous, but their beliefs washed up their brains. -

You might feel differently if you grew up in a constant state of siege from your neighbours.
My husband is non-white and grew up under apartheid. He is an educated man is a serious thinker. And yet, the taint of having grown up as a victim of apartheid still colours his thinking and attitudes at times, and the apartheid has been gone for nearly half of his life.
Imagine how it must feel to have lived under the threats of violence that Israel has endured for more than three generations? Wouldn't YOU be taking draconian measures to ensure the safety of your loved ones against those who would kill you for no other reason than you exist?
I cannot fault Israel, only those who have attacked her so relentlessly and for so long that she now feels this kind of action is necessary for her survival and the survival of her people. -
Israel's right to exist is controversial, but civilian's right to live and to be safe is beyond doubt. Perhaps Arabs are more justified in wanting to end Israel than Israel is justified in the criminal acts. Arabs and Israel are suffering from the ignorance and religious beliefs, but all I'm saying is that Israel takes it a step further.

I do not blame Israel for any actions taken. I agree with 90% of the decisions made, admire their military's dedication and tactical training and do not fault them for any preemptive measures -

My view of Israel hasn't changed.
It is too bad that most people don't know how the state of Israel was formed.
Americans never hear of the Irgun or Stern Gang. Both were Jewish terrorist groups that terrorized Palestinians and the British. Americans never hear of Irgun's massacre of over 225 men, women and children at Dayr Yasinin 1948, or Irgun's--under Menachem Begin--blowing up Jerusalem's King David Hotel in 1946.
In light of those events, and others, it is difficult to say who are the terrorists and who are the freedom fighters. I have actually sided with the Arabs. They have a legitimate claim to their land. They didn't start the terrorism. The Arabs are freedom fighters much as the patriots of the United States under British occupation. The largest difference is that a tea party won't have much effect today--note the tea party that was conducted in the US on April 15th of this year.
Finally, if Israel lived up to UN mandates, things would be different today. The US has vetoed many of the UN resolutions. That makes us an enabler to a terrorism forced on the Arab people.
Aren't "all men created equal?" I guess Americans and Israelis are more equal than those nasty Muslims. -
The Israelian is same with other person but the action taken by the Israel Higher Authority is something very cruel I do not agree with their solution by make a war with Palestinian. Actually, Israel is "symbiosis".
