How fast you can reach top positions in Search Engines?

I saw many discussions in different places about traffic, Page Rank, SEO optimization and so on. I saw also in the same time different blogs with a lack of traffic.
I know (I`m not the one), at this time with the power of Social Networks - media distribution you can obtain fast results, without being necessarily to have SEO skills.
I started a project in July 13th with a domain name (for a Clickbank product) and a WP blog. The WP blog was in the Google`s index in the third day, the domain name was in the fourth position in the 1st page of Google for a targeted keyword in the 13th day, all these by using only free sources www.doruman-business.com/2009/07/16/new-web-site-on-google-index-in-less-th...
I live in Europe, so with proxy 202 I opened this morning google.com and yahoo.com (Bing seems to have more long delay with new websites) and I made two screen shots with what I found there: www.flickr.com/photos/doruman/3899439454/
It can be seen, the position in Google was keeped, in Yahoo... better to see, or verify directly. It`s an example for just one keyword. For the domain name I obtained results on the first page for 5 selected keywords, for WP more than 10 keywords.
With the free informations from my blog www.doruman-business.com anyone can obtain the same results in 1-3 months, even better. For faster results (2-15 days) it`s there a paid product. I show here in discussions not only a theory, it`s a fact, a recent history.
I think it`s helpful for beginners and not only for them. I hope to see more ideas in this place. Someone might think that what I wrote here is just a virtual story?

It seems as I have had right - all that I learned and tested about SEO optimization, backlinks building, Social Networks, website promotion and many other - today I saw the first results: PR 4 and 290.000 in Alexa classification.
I hope these paragraphs and all details from my Wordpress Blog to be a real help for all people that don`t know how to develop, to promote their blog, to bring traffic to it, to add quality content...-
Mind to share your step by step technique. Like.. today I joined BC, oh before that I joined MyBloglog. Later I slapped my boyfriend for giving only a single outbound link to my blog. Then, I ask/force everybody to google my name. I pressure my roommate in order to have him submit my blog sitemap to so many crappy search engines that I myself never heard. In the end I've got only PR1, but Google is pretty well quick, updating my blog 1-3 minutes after every new thread posted.

Thank you for your first comments. @SoftwareGal, in the main I used Social Networks and media promotion - don`t forget about correct SEO techniques. In the first 8 articles from my main page anybody can find a lot of quality details, even if these are offered for free.
Sending of a website to search engines is one of the techniques. The good point is as it can help you with a large indexing exposure, the disadvantage at the most of its, this thing would be repeat monthly and too less importance for a higher Google PR. About your PR1 you`ll understand why from "SEO tips of common sense...", article from the main page.

It seems you love black backgrounds... I think you want your blog to be different, unique, readable - great! I studied a lot and I prefere quick and stable results; the most (if not all) statistics show better results in webpages with a white background or so.

I will be happy to go through your blog in detail to get good ideas. Also thanks for the advice on the dark color blogs. I have thought about this a lot also, especially for my WeLikeYourStuff blog, but because I have so many articles already and with so many photos, its hard to change to a different WP Theme without a major overhaul. Tried it but it looks a mess.

Thank you Frank again for your kind words. Indeed at each upgrade or from time to time, when it`s need of changing the theme, and I has ...emotions... but as a main rule: early backup, latest updates for WP and for the plugins installed also... I think you know...
I open this threat again, it`s a part of the same project and more than that, a technical reason... this page has PR3 in a little more than 2 months with just a few comments... everyone who read these lines, which opinion you has, what could it be the reason?...
Maybe some of you think as the example with rosacea.com was a lucky chance or something like that. Well maybe seeing step-by-step you can think as that I wrote is real and possible. Yesterday, in fact 14-16 hours ago I started another domain name: www.tool-keyword.com that now, by searching for command "site:...." appears in the Google index (I stress, for now just in index, still not in SERP) - in matter of hours!
At this time I used just the minimum methods to obtain this - backlinks from 8-10 Bookmarks, 3-4 websites with PR4. All these settings was made in 10-15 minutes. I thought to share this information just from a desire to help; so many bloggers with quality content or passion for what they doone there, but their methods of promotion are not too appropriate. Sorry, but indeed I has NOT lack of visits in my blog, I don`t want to sell or promote nothing.
By simple reading the first 8-9 articles from my main (blog) page you`ll understand some essential things - not so complicated - that make the difference between performance and ordinary... you don`t need to be a SEO expert, it`s not necessary to have technical skills or to be master in website promotion... just to understand and apply the right way to use some even simple methods - maybe unbelievable at this time for you... oh almost to forgot, maybe the last Ezine Article to understand the difference between SEO and SEM:

More than that, some details... in July 13th I was forced by Google to change something in the rosacea site. Until then I used a method - 301 redirect - used for years by many marketers, but Google changes the rules, so Matt Cutts explained some time ago. So, then I inserted a pro script and I obtained the results shared in above; 20 keywords in the first page on Google I think is notable.
Few days ago it seems as Google done some changes again in his algorithm, the same that like 4 months ago was happend. Google applied the rule: "too many redirect links to a main (product) link will strengthen that product link, only that link will appear in SERP`s"... even I used a method some like hootsuite, bit.ly or many others the same kind... unpleasant for all the work done for a referral, but that is it, a giant like Google extends so far, it seems as for it there are not enough just the classification of results and the storage of its....
In all 1st page positions obtained appeared the main page product link, not my wbesite. Interesting, my website was keeped in Google index, for the command "site:..." my website appeared, also when I used "www"; but for "http" appeared the main page of the product and the most unpleasant - in all the results of searches (SERP).
It was the time for another changes, again... there it was necessary to change the index of my site - a great modification for a website, a reason for reindexing or decreasing in results of searches, a lot of time spent... How much time it took for my site? What you think?
In 24 hours appeared in Google local (country), in 48 hours appeared in Google.com - VERY FAST for so big changes on a website! Which could it be "the secret"? Not so hard to guess - the quality of backlinks. I wrote "quality" and not "quantity" (not just once I saw in Alexa or Yahoo explorer a number of more than 440K baclinkks(!) for a website while it still have had PR0!).
I hope some things from here to be a real help for all those who need a "hand of help". I`m sorry for so long message, all the best for you!
