With the recent rise of social media and social marketing, how important is Facebook, Twitter and other Social networks to you or your business to grow brand, increase awareness, gain market share or acquire new bustomers?

I feel that there is a new trend in marketing online and because of that trend, Social media Marketing sites are essential for every online entrepreneur in order to survive. You see here's the thing:
People do not like for you to sell them things!. It doesn't mean that they don't want to buy your stuff. It simply means that don't want you to push them on your products. With the social media sites like facebook, youtube, linkedin, twitter and myspace, you can easily have the opportunity to build relationships and earn trust.
