How long it take for your blog to be indexed in the search engines?

For my blog www.pixelshots.blogspot.com it took about one week to get indexed after my first post is published.
it seemed that i am getting more clicks after i have added meta tags, hmm some more food to the crawlers..
at first there was only a few clicks coming. but now it is increasing slowly..
The interesting fact is that Google is the only search that brings clicks into..Is all other search engines dead????

Please read the information at the link below because I believe it contains answers to all your registration and indexing questions. The other search engines are not "dead". MSN does not come until you register. Yahoo will not come as frequently as Google does until after you register.
You need a Google web masters account and you need to create & file a sitemap. All pertinent information is found in the post at the link I have posted for you
