How long to get to 500 unique visitors?

I am doing a survey for one of my blogs.

I want to know how long it took you guys to reach 500 unique visitors and what you have been doing to increase traffic to your blog.

This info would really be useful, as we are trying to get consensus on what works for bloggers currently.

    My Star Trek X1 post on www.icepop.com has had over 600 visitors since the fifth of March. I guess people like Star Trek! The post is about the new film/trailer etc.

    IcePop is a community blog and all authors generally have had 100 readers after first day. It's a high traffic site despite being new.

    I am on 2500-3000 unique visitor a month. It takes 3-4 month works to reach this.
