Well as we already know, the Wii is in high demand. It's popular for it's motion controller and interactive games. But now the other two consoles are releasing their own motion controllers and they plan to make them better than the Wii.

And the other two consoles have strong titles to back them up, to be honest the Wii only has games suited for family and friends. It won't satisfy hardcore gamers.

I think the Wii will slowly start to die out, however the DS will continue to go strong especially in Japan since it's one of the most popular hardware.

Wii is alive and well in my home. We played it just yesterday. It allows old farts like me to enjoy competitive games like Archery, bowling, and other fun things. We play it quite often. My sons still use their other systems but the wii isn't gathering dust.

Wii will always be fun for multi players. But for people like me who don't often play with friends end up finding the Wii boring.

Like I said the Wii has games suited for family and friends, it won't satisfy hardcore gamers, Sony and Microsoft are now planning to take advantage of motion controllers and interactive games.

Wii won't last when those two get fully involved

it will survive here. you're talking to someone who has an NES, a Sega Genesis, and an Atari set up and frequently used in her home.

Of course loyal fans will always keep supporting Nintendo, My favourite game of all time is the Legend of Zelda on the Nintendo 64.

But people will always opt for the best value. The Playstation 3 and 360 are pretty much media centres, and on top of that If they offer consumers the same features as the Nintendo Wii than people will most likely turn to their direction.
