I used to drink up to 7 cups a day but have forced my addiction down to 2 cups a day.
How many do you drink a day?
Do you feel that you need coffee to function?
Do you feel any side effects if you don't get your fix?

I cant do it - not cold turkey at least. I end up looking like someone trying to quit a drug addiction. I get the migranes and the shakes, I get lethargic and my speech starts to slur.
On that note I like coffee so dont feel a need to quit all together. I just needed to cut to lower my blood pressure after the doctor gave me the warning talk a few months ago in relation to an early childhood heart operation.

When I was in first grade my mother-you won't believe this-used to give me a cup of coffee every morning before school. Talk about attention deficit disorder. But I haven't had a cup since.

I drink Coffee in an intermittent cycle.
Uhm... If I can get a Rockstar Mocha Coffee - one a day --- LMAO - that's how I Flow.
But I will interchange my morning with a coffee or a tea (double bagged and prefer Earl Grey with 3 spoons sugar, dollop of honey and cream in it - but can go generic black tea when saving bucks.)
I like flavored coffees - but plain will do when I need to get up.
I'm a Nightflyer - so daytime requires some sort of massive caffeine infusion when I have to interact on a professional level with other human beings. -
Uhm But Dr. Pepper is my uhm.... Coke.
LOL!
Daily addiction - 24 pack every 2 weeks - I have to have at least ONE a day..
And I can only drink it when the bubbles are brand new - so if it is open more than 20 minutes - it's done... I won't touch it...
And it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold...
LOL! -
I have cups that hold half a pot, so I usually drink two or three cups a day, four when the energy demand is high. I drink it straight black, though, so at least I'm avoiding the cream-and-sugar unhealthiness. When I was pregnant I had to drop coffee and that hurt me - I worked in a tiny office and we ground our beans fresh and the smell drove me mad, while the headaches made me feel free to express that frustration.
It took a couple of weeks before I really felt right in the mornings. -
