How many Daily Visitors would you want to have?

When i started blogging...it was really tough just to reach 100 visitors a day. Now my goal is to have 5000 a day. Currently i'm at around 2500 visitors/day.
It took me about 8 months to reach this level.
Do you have goals for your blog? Thanks in advance for your particapation!

Enough to start giving me some decent revenue. I'm at about 800 daily, with around 5,000-7,000 uniques per month. -
I don't care about numbers. I write to vent and if people read it, that's just a bonus.-

Oh, I have about 35 readers per day. I would like to get about 50. I've slowed my posting down 'cause its nice and summer time and I'm outside, so. . . 50 is a longshot on that schedule.

#s doesn't matter as long as you are content. You can have only few readers but if they are the most important people in your life then it's more important that 1000s of visitors.

I'd like to get over 50 for now. -
I get three a day. I'm trying to get my dog to visit. That'd make four.-

If getting 5000 visitors daily involves only getting them there to make me money I have missed the mark of the reason for my blog. If the content ends up drawing 5000 people because they got something meanful from what I write I would be overwhelmed by the response.-

Man, if I had 100 visitors per day who liked my writing and my music, I would be cartwheeling and bouncing with happiness.
Right now I have around 5-10.-

I dont know what i am doing wrong. i'm still struggling to get 50 visitors each day (my blog is almost 1 year old).
it will sound crazy (under my current situation), but i'd like to see 1k visitors each day on my blog.-

These days the net is flooded with bloggers trying to get their content noticed. IMHO you are doing everything correctly and also doing it very well. I'm so happy to witness how you have developed as a blogger. I wish I could help you get more traffic too.

I'm impressed with so many of you! I get anywhere between 250 and 300 per day. I thought that was pretty good but I guess it isn't that many people. I am more concerned with having loyal readers, though, and not just one-time visitors.-

You have 2,500 visitors a day? Great! What do you do to achieve that? I have about 30 unique visitors per day, I would like to have about 500 uv per day... Someday... I'll keep on writing, nice to share with you guys.. -
did you mean 2,500 unique visitors or 2,500 pageviews? becoz there is a big diferrence between the two.
for me I would like to have at least 50 UVs. after my blog was hacked, I get around 10-20 visitors a day... :((

Off-topic, but it's actually interesting to see how the OP (wildcherry) managed to have his one blog listed as six separate blogs, simply by submitting each category as a separate blog.

Just a quick update: I'm averaging close to 3k visitors a day now :). Still a long way to 5k but still have few months to reach that goal.

If I could have 100 a day I'd be thrilled! =) Right now, my goal is just to gain some consistency and continuously try to reach out to more and more people. -
I started my blog for primarily my own sake .. but the content isn't bad for others too. But how many others? I do not know

I don't get much traffic and I don't mind. My blog is a personal blog and what is important for me is not the quantity of readers but the quality of readers - readers who can appreciate what I write and not just scan over my page and out again. -
I have between 100 and 150 unique visitors a day right now, which is after around 10 months or so of blogging. I have probably another 50 or so that either follow or get an email delivery of new content.
How many do I want? I want 50 times that amount. -

I'd be happy with 1000 a day to all of my sites each. Getting about that much daily from all of them put together. If I can get 1000 a day to each of them that would be about 10k a day. I'd be happy with that because I think that would increase my earnings by about 2000%. -
I haven't been paying much attention to numbers yet, I have just been having fun with it...writing by hand while out in the sun, then rewriting it all on my laptop. I would like to have plenty of visitors but my current main site was also built with venting in mind and not necessarily designed with that in mind but for my own personal preferences. People coming by to join in venting would be a simple bonus.
However, the next site I am developing I'll be paying more attention to those details (ugh lol). Congrats to you for achieving a great goal and continuing to get more readers! You'll reach the 5000 soon enough =P
