How many hits needed to achieve $10 per day?

I was just wondering how many hits per day would you need to earn yourself $10 on your blog without ad clicks....

I'll take a stab at this one... but you might want to wait for somebody smarter to come along and answer you... ;-)
It would depend on your CPM.... for example, if you had a CPM of $1.00 you would get 1$ for every 1000 page impressions. So you would need 10,000 page impressions to get to $10 per day... (with no clicks on your ads).-
WOW....that is impressive. Maybe,if we all contributed to each others blogs this way, per day,we could all make $10.00 per day...

yeah 10k page impressions a day you better have the equipment for that amount of traffic. Wichywife is just talking CPM (Cost Per Impressions) she's not counting clicks. You will make a ridiculous sum of money CPC and CPM combined not to mention affiliate sales and private advertisements, you'll clean up.
If you pick your keywords or niche right then you will make even more off of the high CTR. Some niches can produce from $1-5 per click so research is essential.-

Don't think that all you need is adsense to get $10 per day. Even if you had text link ads say, $20 per month (and you get 50% or $10 per link) that's $0.33 per day. Get 10 links, that's $3.33 per day. Have two sites with 10 links per day that's $6.66 per day .. have three sites with 10 links on each that's $9.99 per day.
Of course, you can have 20-30 sites, and not get more than 10 links on all of them, but that's the risk too. However, if you build up your blog's value and content, maybe instead of $20/month link advertisers might want to sponsor your blog at $40 per month.
It's all relative. You'll go crazy trying to find 10,000-20,000 visitors per day, when maybe 600 visitors per day and a few monetization areas might work (not to mention, maybe commissions on selling Amazon products into the mix) -
10,000 page views doesn't correspond to $10/day, nor the other person's comment about 10,000 hits per day. -
I think everyones right about the 10,000 impressions a day. I make about $1.00 per 1,000 impressions on my blog so it seems about right. My blog only has a small adsense square though, so maybe if you monetized it right you can do better than that. -
Hmm, I don't make anywhere near 10k impressions a day, but make over $10 a day with adsense. I think it's more to do with how much each click is worth in your topic/genre/market, and how you place ads. Some of my clicks were ~$1.40 each. -
10,000 impressions a day provided it is a dollar per CPM per page. Sometimes, it can be as low as 10c per CPM and for that day, you will need 100,000 hits to make $10.

I get about 30 cents per click on my sites, mmadepot.blogspot.com and tekshelf.blogspot.com, and about 600 impressions a day, I have only been at it 10 days though

$1/1000 impressions is a pretty common ad price. Around 1000 impressions/day is also where I often see the average of around $10 range per day earned from adsense clicks, although that can vary wildly. -
Based on feedback I've received from successful bloggers the way to make $10 per day from your blog is to write a book about how to make $10 per day on your blog and sell it for $200(bookstore gets 55%, publisher 40%). Then you just need to sell 365 copies.
If you go self published ebook you can sell them for $12, but then you've got to find 365 people willing to buy an ebook. -

From my experience, you earn around 1$ for 1000 visits per day, so for 10 you'd need 10 000 visits.
