   I budget A LOT!!! And compared to other countries fresh vegetables are cheap here, I usually spend about 20euro a week, that is including all drinks, meat, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, ect ect

      Here in Dubai per week for 2 it's about $150 per week on groceries and the basics....lotsa water needed in the desert!

      Actually, it's why I cook so much. Homemade is almost always cheaper - except for bread here. It just takes a lot of time and there isn't a lot of junk sitting around.

   I budget a lot too. Fruits and vegis have gotten so expensive that I only buy them on sale. I really only buy anything on sale now so sometimes we will have a run of chicken to eat or just hamburger. Don't remember the last time we ate steak. We live in Washington state and for a family of three I spend 80-100 a week. Thankfully my daughter eats like a bird ;-)

    My kids live with me half the time and with their dad the other half. When they are with me (that's 3 people total), I spend $80/wk and when they're not, about $50/wk.
