Is blogging enough to make you quit a day job?

How much are we talking here with your blogs? Let me see some figures :-)

  Had a look at your blog. Have you played starcraft as well? I reckoned its better than warcraft because choosing the right units for an attack or defense is more crucial, therefore you tend to use your brain a little more, like in chess.

I've cut off my earnings but I was only doing sponsored posts and am no longer interested in doing that.

But when I was, I earned about $600.00 per month from 1 blog with 2 companies: PayPerPost and PayU2Bog.

If you want to keep PageRank on your site, I don't suggest using them. However, SocialSpark from Izea should be launching soon and that'd be a good resource for "blogging for cash."

About $8.00 so far. I've only had AdSense in place for about 3 weeks though. This whole thing is new to me. I'm hoping it'll pick up to at least pay for the server each month.

Are we allowed to give out this type of information? Given all the Adsens* rules ? If not please advise and I will remove this post.
I'm currently making $40/month with Go**gle and $30/mo with Kontera - so about $70/month. I have 2-3 blogs that are getting hits and one gardening web site. The gardening web site www.BorgheseGardens.com gets about 45 hits a day and the www.Offgrid-Living.blogspot.com and tech sites get about 150 hits a day. I think the gardening site has a much higher ratio of clicks for visits. But I can't retire on $70 per month so I need to keep working my day job. I keep hoping that someday I'll check my stats and I'll be at $50/day. ($1500/month) I can only wish ! I find that I can track where people are coming from using Free Sitemeter. Most hits are coming from G**gle Search and blogcatalog. I think that since G**gle owns Blogger they rank your sites higher than say WordPress or others ?? (but that's only a guess) I couldn't figure out how to edit my Worpress account to add advertising so I gave up on it. I understand that Blogger can delete your site without notice - which also makes me nervous. Have to stay on the staight and narrow - you know "Do no evil" and I'll be ok. I hope this post isn't evil. Sorry if it is.

You mean that people can actually make money blogging. I always thought the only people that made money blogging, were the one's offering you to make money.

I read all these great deals, promises, and then for $$$$, join now.

From my experience there are only 2 worth trying Adsense and Kontera - the rest are a complete waste of time and take traffic away from your blog with no returns.

I think I am actually doing pretty good because my blogs are ministry sites that share the love of God with others. Therefore, I am laying up treaures in heaven as the bible says, so my heavenly bank account should have a few dollars in it. Yet I am hoping for a nice mansion in heaven when that day comes, so back to blogging for God.
