How much have you earned from Adsense so far?

N O T H I N G till now even after a month of hard work. But, I am determined to break the jinx
    1. arisjulianta
Hi Zenvengo! I got $200 for 7 weeks, all of my revenue came from free blogs (blogspot). Most of them are static blogs, not necessary to waste your time to do daily update. I haven't received the check, coz I just sent my PIN request to google on this morning. You can start your surf on my blogs at www.arisyulianta.blogspot.com.
  2. RTCunningham
I have averaged between $50 and $100 per month.
    1. VampireFaust
      Wow! That's really cool!
    2. baloot
whoa.. great job dude.. what is ur url?
    1. nancybryan
the same situation, i think we need to start get money, 50$ its not so hard =)
  3. cymrusteve
not much. i'm not sure how, but i received a $100 referral way back in my early days of signing up. i'm still around the $65 mark since my first and only payment, and it only increases by about 50 cents per day. I know I could be doing things better. It seems to be a winner for so many sites.
  4. iluvmonkeys2
    $6.12 in two months...sheesh
    1. standalone
I've got $7 in 1 month. I think I need to promote my site little harder...
  5. kiltak
    $800 per month
    1. circumstance
      how you do that..?
    2. kiltak
      I write informative content

      Howto material works best
    3. nancybryan
      hope its not hard? ;)))
  6. sexyinred
Not more than $3...after all this time
  7. cymrusteve
    What's the secret kiltak?
    1. kiltak
I wrote something about this for those of you who are interested: www.geeksaresexy.net/2007/03/22/turning-your-blog-into-a-money-making-machi...

I've had an adsense account for a couple of years now and have yet to receive a payout.

I have begun to see a rise in pennies, nickles, and dimes being added to my adsense piggy bank, however, since I started my blog.

    There's hope? :-)
    1. zakman
hi Angela, I just visited your sites.

You hardly have any adsense there! the beautytips has zero adsense and the Baby Boomers has only one link ad at the top (which by itself doesn't produce any revenue. One needs to click on the ads created by the link ads)

I'm almost 100% sure you'll see more action once you add some more adsense. Go for it -- just experiment! G'luck.
    2. Angela
Zakman, thank you. :-) I have been trying to determine which ads and/or referrals would be my best bet as well as where to place them on my Baby Boomers blog. I think I need to clean some things off my sidebars and then step back to see about where to place them. It's getting to be too cluttered IMO.

I haven't made a definite decision yet as far as whether or not to put them on my Beauty Tips blog. I'm an Beauty Consultant and would much prefer to draw attention to the products I provide rather than someone else's. This blog is more geared towards building relationships with potential clients and providing them as well as my existing clients with tips and knowledge. :-)
    3. VampireFaust
That's a good question...How much do you have to reach before they actually pay you?
    4. furniture27
Fresh content is the most important thing. There is so much duplicate content out on the web that you want get much search engine love this way. www.copyscape.com/ is a site where you can see who also has that story on the web. Google is continually changing their alogrithims for page rank. As a result they are giving less and less credit as a trend to content that is not freshly written.
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank
If you are not using the google toolbar it can be dowloaded for IE or Mozilla where you can see what sites are at.
  9. creative666
I have several sites and at their best they pulled in $400 a month but since then I dont update as much as I should and its slipped to just over a $100
  10. confessing7girl
i make a few cents per week!!!!!! sad but its soo true!!! i dont get how u guys make so much money u hv to hv like hundreds of clicks!!
  11. kiltak
Just a warning to everybody here... disclosing your # of click, CTR or eCTR is stricly prohibited by adsense's TOS..

You do have the right to tell how much you are making though.

    Better be safe than sorry!
    1. confessing7girl
i wasnt asking!! thanx for the info
  12. cymrusteve
Good point and thanks for the link by the way...
  13. gadegigo0
About zero.Maybe i would do a bit better if i actually had adsense.
  14. taylorblue
i've only made 50 cents so far...
  15. m38967
since starting my blog, my earnings are steadily increasing. but nothing to brag about, yet. and i see the potential in blogging versus forums or regular websites. my aim is to become a pro blogger and earn a living from it.
  16. Anniepooh
Absolutely NADA, because I refuse to put the ads anywhere but at the end of my page :O)
    1. gsmile
You have to put it where everyone can see it to actually earn more clicks.
    2. Anniepooh
I thought my answer conveyed that I really didn't care--'cause I don't! It's an experiment along with a few other things on my page.
    3. VampireFaust
See, that's my dilemma...I would probably place them low on the page so I doubt I'll really receive that many clicks...but I could be wrong...we'll see...
  17. dharmagypsy7
lol... I scrapped it altogether.. I think I made $.86

I think it's great for websites that offer internet advice and marketing advice and get loads of traffic but if you don't blog about that; it's better finding your own affiliates

linkshare and sharealinnk are two companies I signed with and found my own affiliates. I hope this works out better. Plus I have better control over the ads. I think one time Adsense had a dildo up there.. I was beyond mortified. But I will read your article anyways kiltak.. who know's maybe I will give it a whirl again.
    1. kiltak
Wrong, you can write about anything.. and people will come. You only need to market it properly.

Diet, health, technology, marketing, diseases, food, consumer electronics, psychology, these are *ALL* profitable niches.

and there's 100's of other ones.
  18. dharmagypsy7
well to each their own.. I am happy with my affiliates.
  19. rippinkitten
    I think I'm up to $1.70! Whoo!
    1. nancybryan
you should ream some info for increasing your money(good blog)
  20. zakman
First two weeks: Less than $1
    April: About $2.50
    May so far: About $9.50

Guess I got to wait a li'l more before bidding for the Empire State Building.
    1. bobman024
About 10 bucks in 6 months woo!
  21. gsmile
Does anyone have secrets to spill?
  22. kimyong
    i can make $300 a month ...
    1. gsmile

    Congratulations, chefton.
  25. OAkKing
been with google ad sence since they started have made about $50 so I need to work it...
  26. Serenacyh
Gulp...$8 in 8 months! Sad and pathetic indeed.
    1. Serenacyh
      Woo...$9.71...phew! (June 2007)
  27. zakman
Last friggin 4 days I'm getting one click per day, each 1 cent.
    1. confessing7girl
hey i use adsblacklist to get rid of the low cost per click ads and made for adds junk!!
  28. bidarlah
no where need double digits $$$...argh. why??? and it's been double digits months now.
  29. kirewass
Now Google has sent me my first 100$.
    1. nancybryan
      very good
  30. mustbethatgirl
My figures are pathetic. So I don't look at the stats anymore. I think they're hopeless. I don't care about adsense anymore, maybe one day, I take them all off.
    1. confessing7girl
im caring less and less about it!! i just let it be!!! doesnt give me any extra work to hv the adds on so if i can make a few cents its good!!
  31. decarn
I just started Google AdSense two weeks ago. So far I have been earning an average of 0.50 cents a day.
You can read about my views on google AdSense here -> myblog-log.blogspot.com/2007/05/maximize-your-google-adsense.html

I'm thinking... I know that encouraging clicking is wrong, but what if we were to set up a google AdSense community? I'm sure all of us at some point or the other do click on Google Ads because we are genuinely interested in the advertised site. Rather then let an unknown party earn from it, why not let a person in our community whom we know earn and I'm sure he/she will appreciate that.
    1. gsmile
I think if Google finds out, your original payment amounts could be deducted.
    2. confessing7girl
      u know thats completely illegal!!
    3. gsmile
So if you want that "event" to get big, you would be practicing illegal activity...
    4. terencechang
That is not going to work. Google will find out and ban your site forever.

You should research on how many people join Google everyday and how many of them are banned few months later .. They will not get any $$$.
  32. decarn
    Hi gsmile and confessing7girl,

No problem. I will drop this idea. Wouldn't want to do anything that's against Google TOS. I will continue exploring other online advertising programs.

    Thanks for the warning.
    1. gsmile
You're welcome. Just don't want any BlogCatalog friends getting in trouble.
    2. confessing7girl
      no problem!
  33. plusultra
I am at 91 dollars or so. I should reach the minimum 100 dollar payout soon. How exciting!
  34. Randlet
Has anyone else found that their check from google is half hanging out of the envelope when you grab it from the mail box?

I make about 20-30 dollars a month with google.
    1. zawadi
      they want it back lol
  35. markcutler
I am up to just over $3.00 in one week,,,,,Not too bad i don't suppose
  36. crpitt
About $12, but i have only got two adsense boxes up. Not sure where else to put them?
  37. zakman
I'll thank my stars if I don't OWE them money.
  38. ahynes1
I dumped Adsense. As much as I like Google, I think Adsense is fundamentally flawed. I wrote a little bit about it on my blog,
    www.orient-lodge.com/node/2123
    1. cymrusteve
Thanks for sharing that information ahynes1. First thoughts would be that's a shame, but you're right - $70 won't make too much difference to either you or Google.
    2. gsmile
Thanks for sharing. Google can ge so ignorant when they have tons of other publishers. Switch over to Bidvertiser.
  39. dharmagypsy7
For those who's making money on Adsense (about $100 or so) what's your secret because I make like cents every day.
  40. dharmagypsy7
well that is before I took it down.
  41. WokeupToday
    $1.82

How can I boost traffic ??? What other referring sites are good
    1. dharmagypsy7
If you are into yoga. I suggest Gaiam.. they have a linkshare program.
    2. WokeupToday
I am into Yoga Thanks dharmagypsy - checking Gaiam out now
  42. decarn
Besides AdSense, what other online ads do you guys use with good results?
    1. 2WriteHands
AdBrite.com seems decent. I dumped AdSense and went with it for a while--made $13. I'm still not sure whether the ads are worth the distraction they create on my blog, but generally I think a few cents is a still a few cents I didn't have before.
  43. cymrusteve
Bucks4Banners is easy money (it won't make you a millionaire however), especially if you have several sites/blogs:

    www.cymru66.com/blogging/bucks4banners-you-display-the-banners-they-provide...

I'm going to look at Bidvertiser as suggested by Gsmile sometime soon.
    1. gsmile
Nice. Except my currency is $, not £. And isn't £5.00 a little... less?
    2. decarn
I already have a Bidvertiser at the bottom of my blog. It doesn't seem to generate very relevant ads because it is program to display the highest bid ad. I'm still testing it out and I believe it complements AdSense well because there are no restrictions to the number of ads you can place. I will read more on it and do a review of Bidvertiser tonight.

Thanks cymrusteve for introducing Bucks4Banners, I will go take a look.
  44. cymrusteve
My currency is $ too. They'll convert it before they pay you. That's how I understand it anyway. I chose PayPal over Amazon gift certificates...

I first read about it here:

    www.elizabeth-rose.info/2007/05/23/make-money-online-update/
  45. marco71
I think I made about $1, that was a while ago, then upgraded to Blogger beta, the AdSense disappeared never tried again.

I don't have enough time to sustain the level of posting required to attract enough readers. I just blog whenever I have little bit of time (like now on holiday).

However I joined two affiliate program this week-end will see (SEOBook and Amazon).

Do you make enough money to "pay" for the time you spend blogging anyway?
    1. gsmile
I think blogging should be a hobby.
  46. decarn
Hi guys, I have done a review of Bidvertiser - myblog-log.blogspot.com/2007/05/my-review-on-bidvertiser-alternative-to.htm...
Please drop me a comment. Thanks!
  47. rappinhood
My first payout took more than a year (December); my second was in April; I'm halfway to my third. I think it just takes time.
  48. jungl
Under 20$ in a couple of months.
Wish it was more, but have been a lot of fun
  49. Randlet
Took me ages to make my first 100 (maybe a year), but the more I blogged the more I earned, the result being I've made 200 in just a few months.

I'm putting my payments on hold so I can have some nice Christmas holiday cash.
  50. eJayz
I'm a newbie with blogging as well as google adsense. I earned $11.00 in my fisrt month with google adsense and so far this month (June) I've earned $3.00. Not as much as what I hope to be earning but better than nothing I guess.
  51. ElizabethE
I have Text Link Ads, Adsense, and Bidvertiser, and the only one that makes me money is Text Link Ads. I made $35.00 last month.
    1. RPFiction
ElizabethE, is the Text Links Ads that of www.text-link-ads.com ?
    2. pumpsmart
I just looked at 2 of your sites and found no Adsense advertisements. How do you make money from Adsense when it doesn't appear on your pages?

Also... what system do you use for your text link advertisements?
  52. ejcooksey
In the 3 months I have had my blog, I am up to $35 at Adsense. I also have Bidvertiser, but just started with them, I have made $ .45 so far. I have a few more I will apply to after June 17th when my blog is officially 90 days old.
  53. syafthegeek
Now my adsens is $2... it's pathetic
  54. Theresa111
The last time I checked I had earned $2.94 and that was perhaps two weeks ago. I am getting ready to dump Google Adsense because they are the only ones making money off of my efforts.
    1. Roseb44170
I really hope you decide not to dump them. Google's Adsense program is one of the few legit ways to make money online.

Almost every blog has the potential to make money using Adsense - your blog just needs a good looking over to see how it can be optimized better.
  55. Carleenp
    I'm getting roughly around $40/month.
  56. oadria
How much is 0$ in Euros? :-). Well, I just started 2 weeks ago, but even if I don't get any money, I am posting on things I'm passionate about, so I will keep this going :-). And I'm also learning a lot by researching news!

To the people who get around 50 dollars/month or more, could you also tell us a little bit on how much time you spend on blogging? Thanks and cheers to all passionate bloggers :-).
  57. johnko5057
i earned about 35Usd in about one month
  58. blogcabins
I had been making 0, but just checked AdSense again. 8 cents!

There will be a party in two years - you're all invited.

    blogcabins.blogspot.com
    1. gsmile
Thanks. I'm looking forward to the party!
  59. gizmobozz
$400~600/month, do the research post some good content so you can up your gains...on the first month was like $2, LOL.
  60. ethelwenn
I've had Adsense like FOREVER! Only managed to make $5.10 so far. LOLOLOL!
  61. gsmile
I've now hit $70 in one month! $30 more to go!
  62. sixuntilme
    Not enough.
  63. circumstance
    i got nothing..
but do picture ads is easier to get money or
    text ads?
    1. kiltak
      Text ads work best...

and studies have proven that visitors that come from search engines have 14X more chances of clicking on ads since what they're searching for is highly targetted.
    2. gsmile
I agree... text ads work best.
    3. circumstance
emm.. if photoblog i will post only picture.. so i can't give useful content like you say kiltak.. so.. do photoblog is not work well with adsense?
  64. bumbl3b33
The most I made was $o.o2, yay! Then I decided to drop Adsense cos I'm not blogging for the money. I am happy enough that people actually visit my blog and leave comments:):):)
  65. firepowr
i'm about 15 bucks, and I've had it for about 2 and a half years.
  66. franxbudi
I just got Us $ 8 arround two month..Anybody want to help me..review my blog secretofmind.blogspot.com Thanks
  67. ladyinfluence
i had an adsense account before but it was suspended for invalid clicks. i was making 1-7 dollars a day on average. The pay per click is really high-- over $1 per click. I was able to find the right highpaying keywords for my blog. It took weeks of testing and experimenting but only to be terminated before i was to receive my first check.

i don't know why it was terminated. just one day, after 5 days of inactivity online, i checked my account and boom-- everything was gone. i must have violated some rules. i never clicked on my ads but i did a lot of advertising and really a lot!!!
  68. circumstance
    i got my first 96cent today..haha
  69. nuaeman
My first month adsense revenue is only $ 2.30.
  70. thereyoucome
    0,
I removed it for several days, but added it now, just for infomation.
  71. badm00n
Just over $5 in 3 weeks.

Obviously the best way to earn more is to get more traffic. But it has to be a certain type of traffic. Communties that already know about ads, such as digg users, other bloggers won't increase your clicks no matter how much traffic they send. Yet there are other people that "click happy" and will click on whatever they see. For the most part, these people come from Search engines.
  72. chelloveck
I have made only $21 in the last two months, which is not that much, although my blog is in Hungarian (one must use the webtranslator to read it). It doesn't have anything to do with traffic: my readers just don't care about G's sometimes stupid ads, they only read the content and they comment them, that's all.
It's a long process to make any substantial money with actually zero job.
I dunno when I'm gonna get rich from AdSense...
  73. zawadi
just under 30 bucks, in over a year lol
  74. konkova
I do about .50 to $1 per day. I got my first $100 check a few months ago and will get my second in a couple weeks. I work at optimizing to do better, but it's not improving much.
  75. writingtrue
I wrote about this recently (Bloggin' for Nothin' and the clicks are free), noting that--just as kiltak has indicated--you need to decide what your blog is for, and if it's for profit, write what sells--especially how to pieces aimed at other bloggers.

      Hello,
I don't know if this makes any difference or not, and I realize that English is not your first language, but there are many mistakes in your first paragraph. It might put people off. I'll correct it for you if you feel that you need that.
  82. GFG
Ad placements are important ..not just "having an ad" ...
color scheme..etc.. whole array of things you can do to optimize
    i am hitting 100-200 a month ..
check out my site for inspiration

    1. wilfordsy
Hey dude. I checked out your site and very good optimization concept. But I was wondering, how long have you been doing that?

I'm not exactly sure but I remember reading that that is against Google TOS. Just want to make sure.
  83. wilfordsy
I earned my first adsense check with $102 in 4 months time.
Not very much. Thats why I'm looking into other sources of revenues. I found this new one that pays you for embedding free videos on your site.
    Check out my post:
    www.mcbilly.com/2007/06/21/get-paid-for-embedding-free-videos-on-your-site/

    Hope this helps.

Now I've got $150 in two months. I think it's pretty good.
  85. shawnlim
I'm jus earning few cents for about 3 months of blogging.
Dunno why, feeling kind of unfair, lolz.
Maybe the traffic flow to my blog is not great enough, only around 30-50 a day. U guys have any idea how to increase traffic and Adsense revenue?

    Pls share. thanks
  86. terencechang
    Just a reminde
