Mine apparently is worth $15,807.12

Seems pretty arbitrary to me. Over $8,000 for History Survey with just a few month's life, a Technorati "authority" of 15, and not the heaviest traffic in the world.

I should add that not all of the backlinks are relevant, making the $8,000 even more arbitrary.

I don't think I have that many backlinks. it has to be based on more than that. Like age, maybe?
It doesn't matter though. No one has ever offered me even a tenth of that for my blog. Come to think of it, no one has ever offered me anything for my blog!
But that was a fun 2 minutes anyway. -

The tool was developed by technorati and has to do with some internet buyout thing. That is how they determined the value of the links.

And I guess everything is a backlinking scheme, somehow, but since it is done by technorati, they are probably safe from the SEO monster.

I manage car dealerships,and people come in with what kelly blue book says there car is worth,When no dealership in the world uses kelly to apraise a car..so we tell that if kelly blue book thinks your car is worth so much ask them to buy it. Just reminded me of that when they said mine was worth 7900. -

I don't know what this means but I think that later on people will want to by ready made blogs. I cant see how that would work unless that person is just as passionate about that topic. -

Hey You were not kidding You should add that to your blog. Now is the time to use that to get paid sponsors to rent links. Also www.payperpost.com would love to hear from You They pay per post and have lots of clients raedy to get some blog coverage.

Interesting, my blog is worth wait for it......a whopping $00.00 not surprising as it's only been up for a couple of weeks. Not based on age though as this url has been active one way or another for more than 6yrs so it must just be purely based on popularity at the present time?

Nice site only one thing where is the content that You created for Your viewers. You need to gain viewers before You Try to make money. That's what makes a blog a blog and not a website and when You do add ads use text links mostly with a sprinkle of banner ads.
