i have 7 -50 visitors and 200+ page views as i have a ecommerce store + blog. That explains the page views even though the low number of visitors. I have hit 800 visitors in a day and 750 the second day and continue for a week when im having my online promotion.
Some tips: Keep your visitor engage + keep having online polls that attract your niche. Just keep on working on it. Never give up. It has been 2 years since i see a difference.
can drop by my blog and leave a comment on the active poll we are having. Title : What is you laptop ? Truth behind the advertisements.
The blog: blog.imaninc.com/
The active poll: blog.imaninc.com/2009/02/kb-truth-about-laptop-brands/
Hope you can join, as we are having an event soon and would like to hear some inputs. We are looking for what's the most popular laptop brand.
and one more thing. optimise your site well with good seo practice. + Answers all your comments and make them come back for more discussion.
Im not here to spam my site, you dont have to go. Just sharing what im doing as i can say i been there and done that. When the traffic comes, better be ready for more work.

I just joined and I've been getting a couple hits a day, but not much more than that. "Sponsoring" a directory doesn't seem to improve traffic much, but it's worth experimenting with.

From this site, I've only been around for a few days (a week, tops) and maybe between zero and five hits from BC per day. So far it seems to depend on how active I am around here and how willing I am to go out and shamelessly self promote on other people's profiles. (which right now is 'not willing' since I see it as a horrible bastard-child of spam and refuse to partake)

I get anywhere from 100-1000 for one of my sites.
Guess people like to laugh or at least seek out something to put a little fun in their day and share with friends.

I enjoy sharing the gift of laughter so I try to keep it diverse (something for everyone).
The best blogs are the ones that you put a whole lot of work and passion in.
People can tell when you are cookie cutting or being real. For those who are really new to blogs and websites, you have a lot to learn, and for those who are pros, you still have a lot to learn. It never ends. Keep your content fresh and keep it coming. People will manage to check back no matter how full their schedules are.
