      If you want to gain readership on your technology blog, make it narrower, focus on one or two kinds of technology only. Find your niche and stick with it. There are plenty of good technology sites out there and you will never beat them, but there are always enough nerds and geeks that will want to read about "their" niche, you just find have to find it.
