How much Pageviews or Visitors does a blog needs to make 100$ per month from Google adsense?
Although the earnings is based on the Niche, ad placement etc, Can you prefer a minimum visitor quantity a blog needs to make a good amount of $$$ out of adsense.

The stats show that 2-3% of your visitors might click on your ads. Lets assume 2% at .01 cent a click. This means that if you want to make 100 dollars, you'll need atleast 500K visitors out of which only 2% might click on ads (10K) at a rate of .01 cent to make 100 bucks a month. If the rate increases, you'll make more, if your visitors increases, you'll make more. Just depends on the rate and the visitor and the click rate (2-3%) Hope this helps.

Based on my own stats, in my niche I need in the ballpark of 500 visitors or 1000 pageviews per day to make that amount of money.

having increased the EPC to approximately .26 cents a click you can vastly lower the amount of visitors needed. In your particular case Husdal, im assuming that the avg click through rate of 2.5 and an average click through EPC stated above. Good job though husdal, many wish they had at least that many visitors to their blog.
You don't have much choice in the EPC but you do have a choice in how to bring more visitors to your blog. Now something cool would be finding how much in percentage your blog traffic would have to increase by in order to see a particular sort of impact on revenue. Price elasticity or something lol. Anyways, I like econ. rocks. -
tony,
Thanks for the math, I can see that you like economics. And for the record, my visitor stats are about half of what I would need to make the magic 100 bucks.
It would be againt AdSense TOS to publish my EPC or other stats related to my clickthrough rate, so I will refrain from that, but in my niche and with my content, and the advertisers that may attract, I need far less than the 500K visitors you stated initially.

A good amount of dollars is a relative term. $100 is far from a good amount of money for most people, but if you are in a third world country, it's pretty decent.
You already answered your question. Depends on niche, conversion rate, etc. To truly optimize your earnings, you will want to take a look at affiliate marketing, selling your own product, or many other ways to monetize the same traffic. -

Make sure you are optimizing the layout and position of your google ads as well. The google heat map is a great starting point.

Don't take this as being rude, but the first thing any internet marketing person needs to know is how to use google to find out about something they have no clue about.
A simple google search for google heat map turned up this page:
www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=17954
The heat map is where your viewers eyes tend to gravitate to the most. It differs with different templates and color schemes, but is a very good place to start. There is also a heat map for blogs and forums as well.
