How old are you?

I was just wondering how old are we? We all share the same passion for blogging but how different are we when it comes to age?
I am 25 and getting older day by day!

I'm 22 ... but, I've been counting backwards ever since my 33rd birthday - pretty soon I'll be a teenager again! WooHoo!
-
chronologically i was born in '68, will turn 39 in november, and have my 20 year high school reunion coming up in october...
however, my other half claims i'm 8. i would have said 11, but she usually wins these things as all my other friends point out how well i get along with the 5-9 crowd.
(very different from the 9 to 5 crowd, with whom i rarely get along well.)

The only person who's got me beat so far is Scorpy --- and Lord Likely, but I'm not sure how much faith I can put in his statements.

Awww. Aren't y'awll cute, complaining about being in your 20s and 30s and all.
I was born in Jan. of 1950. I think that is the oldest so far, except of course for Lordlikely. That makes me a gen-u-ine "boomer", so you folks work hard now - I'm gonna need the Social Security cash before you know it. heh. -

Where I live, I can now get 'senior citizen discounts' at quite a few places, actually.
Funny story about that -- One place where I sometimes shop gives discount cards (for something like 5% off) to people 55 and older. One day my daughter and I were checking out, and I mentioned the discount to the cashier. I asked, "Would you like to see my card?" He said, "No that's okay." So I said, "Ah, you can tell I'm old enough just by looking at me then." The poor lad first blanched and then got VERY red in the face. "No, no! It's not that at all. I didn't mean to imply that you look old... I just trust you, that's all. Really!" Poor bugger. Really freaked him out.

35. Though I'm reminded of my mom's favorite saying when her age would come up. She'd tell people she was "plenty-nine".

Good grief! Y'all are just pups, yet.
I'm on the leading edge of boom, 'cause my daddy got home from the Big War (that's WWII) a month earlier than most.
Just in case your math skills are a little rusty, I'm 61. That gives me double status... Senior Citizen and Boomer! -
29 next Saturday!
Only a year left then I am 30 (officially an adult in my eyes... 20's is a write off)
GULP -
By the way, I hope to continue defying the demographic odds...

I've got to be the oldest around here. I'm as old as dirt, 81. I don't buy green bananas.
I recall clearly the Great Depression. I remember the bread lines, the soup kitchens, the deperation, the desolation. I recall British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain's return home from his meeting with Hitler in Munich in 1938 (radio news report) with the joyous words, "We have peace in our time." Then World War II starting 1 year later when Hitler's Panzer's stormed into Poland. I recall rationing, blackouts, my going into the armed forces on Aug. 15, 1945, the very next day after the Great War ended. On and on. On and on.
I'm a walking history book. -

I am not bordered by age unless you are looking for someone to go to bed. Even so, I would think someone in the age of 40s can be childish and know nothing much if compared to a person younger like you. Get what I mean? I am older than you for sure. I just blogged about this ". I had walked almost half of my life journey." at www.yrmanna.com/2007/12/16/introduction-to-yrmannacom/
That would answer your question, but it is not a way to comfort myself as age is catching up. Who can remain stagnant and maintain youth forever? -

It depends on who you ask, if you ask my son then I'm older than dirt, if you ask my Mother then I'm a youngster, and if you ask the kid at the grocery store then I'm young enough to get proofed but old enough to call Ma'am.
But if you ask me I'll say I'm the perfect age for who I am right now, 45 year old me.
