Are you someone who obsesses over little details, or someone who is so focused on the big picture that little stuff takes over? Or, of course, somewhere in the middle?

I'm focused on the small things, but in a positive way. I think that's where true happiness lies.

I anxiously awaited your answer. I guessed you'd say neither bothered you! You're pretty laid back! I wish I was more so! For me, some of the little things drive me crazy! Like it drives me crazy when my husband blocks access to the tea kettle while it's whistling! (Picture DaniG getting homicidal with one of Suzie's fork ideas...)

Economy and world order are less of a concern to me, as I have less input there, I guess. (I have a LOT of input on that tea kettle, though!)

I tend to have a pretty long fuse, and try not to let the little injustices of things bring me down. Things that happen repeatedly of the same problematic vein DO tend to irritate me. Then I have to determine if I can correct them or just ignore them.

Because I'm a writer and project manager for work, I have to focus on details, or mistakes get made (and clients get unhappy). But as a person, I'm probably somewhere in between big picture and details.

I do look at the little positive things that happen as my main sources of daily joy.

Believe it or not, I'm a perfectionist.

      That SOOOOOO doesn't surprise me!

Being picky is petty. Worrying about being petty is picky.

I proofread your question, trying to find a spelling or grammatical mistake. THAT'S how damn picky I am!

Wow. That's pretty picky. Hope you didn't find any errors. I mean, if you did, you'd have to take action and that could get ugly.

I worry about the small stuff all the time. I am no where as bad as my mom but she taught me. It is a southern woman thing. You always ave to make sure everything is just right. You do not want people thinking ill of you for it.

I follow Dr. Phil's advice from his father: "If you knew how often people think of you, you wouldn't worry about it so much." lol
