How Tall Are You?

I am 1.67 meters tall.

At what age did you stop growing in height?

My son is taller than my husband, I am taller than my mum..

They say that you can predict the height of a child in adulthood, when they are 2 years old by doubling the height at that age. Is that true?

  That's a pretty good sized foot! Do you have trouble finding shoes? My boyfriend has a big foot so he has a tough time finding shoes he actually likes.

I am 1.73 m, 5'8". My ex husband is 1.78 m, 5'10." My son just turned 6 last month and is already 1.32 m, 4'4", which is at the top 2 percentile for boys his age. There is a predicting formula where you add up the parents' heights and divide by 2. That would be a very rough estimate. I think a better estimate is percentile, but only after the child is at least 4 y.o. I stopped growing when I was about 16.

I'm 5'10" and my hubbie is 6'6". My kids are giants! LOL There is an online height predictor and my son w/his current weight and height (2nd grader as tall as a 4th grader) will be 6'9" at 18 years old! At the rate and speed that he is growing, I can believe it!

I don't really think that equation for determining adult height as a child always works. My daughter was 4 feet on her 4th birthday and everyone thought she would be soo tall as an adult.
But she just turned 16 and isn't quite 5'4"

I stopped growing at about 14. I was 5'9" which was about what the boys in my classes were. The teachers always made me sit in back of the class with the boys, which I secretly liked. Now that I'm older, believe it or not I'm only 5'7". Do not worry if you think you're too tall, you will probably get shorter.

I'm 4'11". As a child, my parents (who'd purchased me on the black market,) thought I was going to be a dwarf. They took me for growth tests, which said I'd be 5'3". I believe external influences/stressors may have stunted my growth a bit, but who can say?

I'm 12'11 in heels...Closer to 5 feet out of heels...somewhere in between 5 and 13 feet, though. I wear sort of a stilt/heel hybrid. They're not comfortable but man-o-man do I draw attention in line at the bank.

  haha, crotchety. Yes, there are many things I can't reach, and my husband, who is 6'1", loves to make fun of me! I can't reach items on the second shelf up in my kitchen cabinets. He gets a huge kick out of it.

I'm 6'3" tall....I don't know of any methods to predict the future height of a child. But milk and cereal every morning from the day I could hold a spoon until now certainly helped....or at least I believed it made a difference

Im 4'11" but I feel like im seven feet tall with God on my side!
A little background information. I was diagnosed with cancer when I wqas 2 years of age. I had many doses of chemo and radation to kill the cancer, Than I recieved a bone marrow transpant. The Chemo and radaition basically wiped me out pretty good. It has damaged my kidneys, which has affected my my vertically challenged height!

I'm 5 ft 10. I was supposed to be 6 ft 2 according to childhood calculations. My father and brother are over 6 ft. my mother is barely over 5 ft. My wife is 5 ft 2 so it seems my sons will probably be shorter than me.

I'm 172 cm, which is the average height for Finnish MEN. Same as Kate Moss, I don't know how I know that. I don't remember when I stopped growing, I think around 12 or 13. Until then I was always amongst the top 3 or 4 tallest kids of my class, that's including the boys. After that a lot of them passed me though. But my brother is taller than both of our parents, and I'm taller than my mom and about the same with dad. I think dad might be a couple of cm's taller than I am. Mom is 170 I think, and she was always tall compared to her age group, and she's way taller than her mom. I don't have kids so no data for you there.

i dont know if its true or not.. but i do know well from what i have obsereved that every second generation is tall.. so say your parents are short.. and your tall.. and then your kids are short.. but there kids are tall.. does that makes sense??

I am not sure exactly, I believe it was some time when I was 12 or 13, or maybe even earlier. Never been very tall, it's probably from all I have been through. Plus today I do dialysis which means my kidneys have pretty much failed. I know if you have kidney disease you will not grow too much kind of like Webster, I believe he had kidney failure.
